Jeremy Clarkson shares cancer diagnosis in emotional episode of Clarkson’s Farm

Jeremy Clarkson has shared the devastating news that he has been diagnosed with prostate cancer during the latest episode of Clarkson’s Farm

TV personality Jeremy Clarkson has revealed that he has been diagnosed with cancer.

In the latest part of his program Clarkson’s Farm, the 66-year-old broke it heartbreaking news to his inner circle.

The episode captures Mr Clarkson chatting about the harvest with farm manager Charlie Ireland and farmhand Kaleb Cooper when he unexpectedly reveals his diagnosis.

“I’ve got cancer,” he told the duo.

“I’ve known since May,” he continued.

“I had a doctor you remember back in May. I passed out the other week and I got a biopsy and it’s cancer and it’s aggressive but it’s really early so the treatment will be, you know.”

After his initial procedure, he explained to Mr Cooper that “10 per cent” of his prostate had been removed using ultrasound technology.

“The prostate, 10 percent of it is dead,” he said. “The 10 percent where the cancer is.”

Mr. Clarkson mentioned that while he is standing up “fine” after the surgery, sitting on a tractor causes discomfort.

He looked back later in the year with Mr Ireland, Mr Cooper, Gerald Cooper and his girlfriend, Lisa Hogan.

“So we started the year and I had coronary heart disease and ended it with cancer,” he noted.

“We can dwell as much as we want on all the bad things that have happened on the farm, but I think it’s better now at the end of the year to focus on things that have happened that are good.”

Clarkson mentioned that he was scheduled for blood tests.

Then he added optimistically, “Come on, be happy, it worked.”

The former Top Gear host will end the season by addressing the audience from his hospital bed.

He revealed that problems had arisen during his medical treatment.

“So we started season five with me in a hospital bed and we’re at the end of season five and I’m back in a hospital bed.”

He ended up delivering devastating news.

“What I was going to say was, if it all works out, I’ll see you for season six, and if it doesn’t, I won’t. Take care, everybody,” he said.
