Ahead of England’s 2026 World Cup opener against Croatia, Jordan Pickford’s wife Megan revealed she may have to turn up in her son’s England shirt after her luggage went missing

Jordan Pickford’s wife Megan revealed that a missing suitcase meant she thought she might have to wear her son’s shirt for England’s first World Cup game tonight.
Megan took to Instagram to share the luggage mishap, asking her followers: “Arrived in America yesterday… my suitcase didn’t. Can I wear my 7 year old top to the game tonight or not?”
Posing with her back to the camera, she revealed that she was in a tiny England top with the words ‘DADDY’ emblazoned on the back. In a separate post on TikTok, Megan shared a photo of her open suitcase with the song “The One That Got Away” by her Katy Perry and a caption detailing her “horror” story.
“My top five horror stories; Arriving in America for the World Cup, My suitcase didn’t arrive, Now sharing my 7-year-old kit, My husband is playing tonight, The airline hasn’t gotten back with when my case will arrive,” the TikTok caption read.
She added: “But as long as we can see dad because football is coming home.”
Fans were quick to laugh with Megan, with one commenting: “No, every girls worst nightmare!!!! That outfit you had too, fingers crossed you get it back soon! Meanwhile you get that dad shirt on girl.”
“Not Megan Pickford wearing a dad shirt, yes Megan!” said another. Ollie Watkins’ wife Ellie commented: “Worst nightmare don’t worry I’ve got 3 suitcases full. coming to the rescue”, to which Megan jokingly replied asking if she had a spare toothbrush.
Megan and Jordan share three children – seven-year-old son Arlo, three-year-old daughter Ostara and baby daughter Misty, who was born in 2025.
The couple first started dating during high school and married in June 2022, with Megan sharing photos of their stunning wedding and gushing: “Worth waiting for the most magical day with my soul mate.”
Megan will join other England WAGs for the match, including Harry Kane’s wife Kate Kane, Declan Rice’s long-term partner Lauren Fryer and Tolami Benson, who is engaged to Bukayo Saka.
They will also be joined by some more low-key stars including Mia McClenaghan, the long-term partner of Chelsea footballer Reece James, Olivia Kate Parvia, who is dating Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson, and Liverpool-born Annie Keating, who is dating 25-year-old Anthony Gordon.
Layla Roye will likely be in attendance as well. She is the 22-year-old girlfriend of Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo, 21, while Lucia Loi is the influencer girlfriend of 28-year-old Marcus Rashford.
Ashlyn Castro, a 28-year-old American influencer with over 646,000 followers on Instagram, is currently dating Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham, and Naima Corbin is married to 27-year-old Arsenal midfielder Eberechi Eze.
