Milly Alcock has a lot more tattoos than fans might realize.
The 26-year-old actress, who stars as Kara Zor-El in the upcoming Supergirl movie, opened up about her ink during a recent appearance on Mythical Kitchen’s Last mealsand reveals that she currently has 20 tattoos.
When host Josh Scherer noted that she has “a fair amount of tattoos,” Milly casually replied “20” with a shrug and a smile.
Milly says she sees them as something deeply personal, especially given the nature of Hollywood.
“As an actor, my body is my tool,” she explained. “But my body is also at the service of other people and a character and who I have to be.”

She said her tattoos give her a sense of ownership over herself.
“There’s something very grounded at the end of the day that takes it all off, and that’s my skin, you know?” she said. “It’s personalized to me.”
She explained that her tattoos connect her to her identity when she travels and lives away from Australia.
“I think when you live in another country and travel so much, you become this collage of all the places you come from and who you are at the center of it. So I think we’re always changing,” House of the Dragon star shared.
She also joked that tattoos are “just really addictive” and she plans to get more.
Under her Supergirl promo trip, Milly climbed onto a fake train in London what a photo assignment!
