Posh Spice have made an innuendo-laden joke about David Beckham’s ‘big broad bean’ as they celebrate Father’s Day together after extending another olive branch to Brooklyn
Victoria Beckham has made a very spicy comment about her husband David’s “big broad bean”. This comes as they celebrated Father’s Day together at their Cotswolds home, just after sending another olive branch to their estranged son Brooklyn over social media.
Posh Spice took off Instagram with a video of ex-footballer David cooking dinner. While he was cooking, he took one of his beans and said, “Dear honey look at that!”
Victoria’s response was a resounding “wow” as David continued to show off the vegetables. She then said, “That’s one hell of a bean. You know, I think they do people’s vegetable contests, you should seriously consider entering.”
She added that he was “such an overachiever”, to which he replied that “size matters”. Victoria laughed and joked, “I love you. And not just because of your massive broadbean.”
As he showed off his other vegetables, including garlic, onions and courgettes, Victoria exclaimed: “My husband’s courgette is impressive!”
The video was posted shortly after both David and Victoria posted Father’s Day messages that included their estranged son Brooklyn Beckham. Posting pictures on Instagram of himself with all his children, David said: “Being a dad is my most important job – I love you all and thank you mum @victoriabeckham for giving me our beautiful family. Happy Father’s Day to all the dads around world.”
Victoria also posted a photo of David with all their children – Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper – and said: “David you truly are the best dad. Your greatest achievement has always been our beautiful children and we love you so much. Happy Father’s Day.”
She also posted a picture of her children when they were younger with the words: “We all love you so much” They have not tagged Brooklyn as blocked accounts are unable to do so.
The posts come despite Brooklyn sending a legal notice to his parents telling them not to tag him in posts or contact him unless through lawyers. He also issued a lengthy statement on social media, full of accusations against his parents.
Brooklyn claimed his parents were controlling and tried to destroy his relationship with Nicola. He claimed that on their wedding day his parents told him she was “not blood” and that his mother “hijacked” their first dance.
Brooklyn has since caused a stir when he made light of their explosive family drama in one WC themed advertisement for American food delivery brand DoorDash.
The campaign clip showed the eldest Beckham child at home waiting for something to be delivered to him. He turned to the camera and said, “You’re probably wondering why I’m watching FIFA World Cup 2026 from home. It’s not like I don’t have tickets.” He then added, “Um, that’s because … it’s a long story.”
Fans of the Beckham family were stunned to see Brooklyn address the drama in an ad for which he is believed to be paid $1 million. The Beckham family were reportedly shocked and upset to see the ad.
