Love Island viewers are convinced a fan favorite couple won’t last in the real world after discovering a brutal trail.
Season 13 of ITV2 dating show started just three weeks ago and already seen a string of brutal dumpings and tense challenges. But some strong ties have also been forged in the villa, including the popular contestants Kavan and Jasmine.
The pair were recently named this year’s predicted winners by online bookmakers Odds checker revealed that 33% of bets placed over the past 24 hours crowned them early frontrunners.
But fans have predicted the pair are sure to “sink” after their latest spat. In Tuesday’s (June 23) episode, the duo butted heads after Jasmine decided to share her opinion about Aidan’s heated debate with newcomer Tina during a campfire fight.
Just last night (June 22) the new couple tied the knot after Aidan revealed he would rather pursue a relationship with his ex Yasmin.
Tina became fuming because Aidan didn’t make it clear to her that his priorities were elsewhere. After the argument, Kavan, Samraj, Jasmine and Mica gathered on the sun deck to discuss the argument.
Things took a turn when Jasmine tried to explain her perspective by saying, “I hear Tina, to be fair.” But Samraj and Kavan interrupted her before she could finish.
When the 27-year-old tried to continue her statement, the boys interrupted her once more. “Wait, I’m talking,” she told them after another interruption.
But that rubbed Kavan the wrong way as he fumed, “Oh, get off Jas.”
Jasmine was upset by his comment and replied, “Don’t tell me to relax, Kav. I’m serious. Never do that again.” Jasmine then got up and walked away as Kavan explained that he felt like a kid being scolded at school.
Although the pair later settled their dispute, Kavan made it clear that he will always stand up for his brother, even if it causes friction in his relationship with Jasmine. This has left viewers at home and now convinced that the couple will never last.
On X, formerly Twitter, one fan said: “Jasmine and Kavan won’t work outside of #loveisland,” while another agreed: “There’s just no way those two will work Imao.”
Another added: “Finally the Kavan and Jasmine ship sinks #loveisland.” With a third fan predicting: “Jasmine and Kavan’s communication styles are going to break them up eventually.”
