The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Rachel Fuda had a successful two-season run on the show.

However, after a long hiatus, the show chose not to continue with her for a third season.

Rachel recently appeared on Kim DePaola‘s Get real with Kim D podcast and gave her thoughts about the new cast.

She noticed that from even when Danielle Cabral and Rachel joined the show, it seemed—and now it seems—”illegitimate.”

“When you look at the original seasons of Orange County… this is a group of intertwined friendships that have dirt on each other… they’ve been through it together. They have history.”

Kim shared similar sentiments, noting, “They know each other. They know their husbands, they’re brothers, they’re sisters…This show is amazing. These girls are so real. With these new girls coming from all different races, creeds, colors, it’s just to me, I don’t — I don’t see the fit.”

Rachel also noted that each Housewives franchise has their own identity.

“Beverly Hills is about opulence … New Jersey is about family. Like they all have their own identity,” she shared.

“So I wonder if that will be the thing that connects them all to make it run around?” she added, hinting at what may be the identity of the new cast.

Seam Reality Blurb previously confirmed, the new cast members must include Xiomara Laracuente and Juliette Collazo, Natia Rufolo, Vanessa Barreraand Deeba Patel.

Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorgaand Dolores Catania are the only original cast members set to return to the show.

While there were rumblings that the production might consider bringing back other older cast members, an insider spilled in May that this was not the case at the time.

“No one involved has been told anything about any cast returning other than Teresa, Melissa and Dolores,” the source said at the time, noting that rumors to the contrary were “not true.”
