Soooo, that’s definitely an interesting development in the ongoing royal family saga!
According to a report out fresh and new Friday night via People, King Charles apparently extending a kind of olive branch to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as the plans for their trip across the pond. And the offer is surprising: royal accommodation for the Sussexes and their children when they return to the UK next month!

The reported invitation comes as Harry and Meghan busy planning a visit to UK with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. If the trip takes place, it will be the first time the entire family has traveled to the UK together in four years – a rather significant milestone given everything that has happened between the Sussexes and the royal family since their dramatic exit from royal duties in 2020.
Sore PeopleKing Charles has reportedly offered Harry, Meghan and the children a place to stay at a royal property during their visit. So far, there has reportedly been no response from the Sussex camp as to whether they plan to accept the offer, FYI!
Of course, accommodation has never been the only problem standing in the way a pleasant return to Harry’s homeland.
The Duke of Sussex has repeatedly spoken about his concerns about security in the UK after he and Meghan lost their taxpayer-funded police protection when they stepped down from their senior royal roles. Harry has been fighting the case through the courts and has consistently maintained that he doesn’t feel comfortable bringing his wife and children to the UK without adequate protection – which makes this latest royal invitation particularly noteworthy, y’all!
Oh, and while King Charles is reportedly offering a place to stay, the same report notes that the monarch has no authority over security arrangements. These decisions remain in the hands of the Home Office, meaning that any acceptance of the housing offer would not automatically solve Harry’s longstanding security problems.

Meanwhile, royal watchers are already wondering if this potential visit could lead to another father-son reunion. Nothing has been confirmed, but Harry and Charles have managed to meet privately during previous visits.
Meanwhile, for Meghan, Archie and Lilibet, they have not visited the UK since 2022, so that would make this possible return even more significant.
