Kelly Osbourne describes the ‘agony’ of missing dad Ozzy on first Father’s Day since his death



Kelly Osbourne vulnerably opened up about the “pain” of missing her late father Ozzy Osbourne in a Father’s Day Tribute.

“Dad, I still look for you in ordinary moments the advice I need, the joke I want to tell, the victory I wish you could see,” the TV personality wrote via Instagram Sunday along with throwback photos with the Black Sabbath frontman.

“The pain of missing you is the price of loving you, and I’d pay it forever rather than have been your child at all!” she added.

“I will never stop missing you. It is an honor to spend the rest of my life loving you. Until we meet again! 💔.”

Additionally, the “Fashion Police” alum, 41, took to her stories to include a sweet screenshot text she received from Ozzy before his death.

“You know what, when I’m feeling sick and miserable, I just have to watch that video you sent of little sid in the bath and it makes me so happy it all just goes away,” the musician wrote, referring to Kelly’s son, Sidney, whom she welcome in 2022 with Sid Wilson.

“I just with (sic) you both still here,” Ozzy continued. “I really love you both and all I want is for you two to be happy.”

In the lyrics, the “paranoid” crooner explained that he was also done with registration for music concerts because he needed his “health much more”.

Ozzy tragic died on July 22, 2025at the age of 76.

“It is with more sadness than words can convey that we have to report the passing of our beloved Ozzy Osbourne this morning,” his family wrote in a statement at the time.

“He was with his family and surrounded by love” they added.

Leading up to his death, Ozzy battled Parkinson’s diseaseas he revealed in 2020.

Ozzy shared daughters Kelly and Aimee Osbourne, 42, and son Jack Osbourne, 40, with his wife, Sharon Osbourne.

In addition, he was the father of Elliot Kingsley, 60, Jessica Osbourne, 47, and Louis Osbourne, 51, whom he shared with his ex-wife, Thelma Riley.

The exes were married from 1971 to 1982.
