David Beckham’s eldest son has continued his rift with the family
Brooklyn Beckham sent a clear Father’s Day message to his estranged father David – as his wife Nicole paid tribute to her father.
On Sunday, David Beckham was quick to post to mark the occasion, a tribute to all four of his children, including Brooklyn.
For Father’s Day, he shared old photos of his children and wrote: “Being a dad is my most important job… I love you all and thank you mum @victoriabeckham for giving me our beautiful family. Happy Father’s Day to all the dads around the world.”
The post was commented on by Victoria and Cruz, but of course Brooklyn didn’t publicly comment on her father. It was in stark contrast to Nicola Peltz, who paid tribute to her father in an extended and exuberant tribute on social media.
In a gushing message, Nicola wrote: “Happy Father’s Day Dad! I’m so lucky to be your daughter, you’re the best dad in the world. Thank you for being the most loving and supportive dad I could ever dream of.
“I love you to the moon and back a trillion times over. thank you for always believing in me and always encouraging me to chase my biggest dreams.
“you have taught me to be so tough and never give up. (just like you) i love you so much! i hope today is so perfect for you,” as she shared a series of photos with her dad.
Father’s Day comes a few days after Brooklyn trains various excavations of his family feud and how he wanted to watch the World Cup from home, despite being moments away from where it was being held.
In the ad, Brooklyn can be seen sitting on his sofa before saying: “You’re probably wondering why I’m watching FIFA World Cup 2026 from home.” Then he chuckles and throws his World Cup tickets on a coffee table and says: “It’s a long story.”
The words: “It’s complicated, more soon,” then appear on screen, along with the unused tickets and some rather poignant digs at his famous family, including an expensive watch, unused tickets and a camera, and burnt pizza.

It has been reported by PageSix that Brooklyn was paid a whopping $1 million to film his DoorDash ad, which repeatedly criticized his father.
A source told the publication: “It’s a little cheesy. (But) anything that brings him money is good — it shows his brand is there and thriving.”
Brooklyn’s family are said to be devastated by the ad. A source said: “To make an ad based on family estrangement as if it’s a joke when his family is broken and his sister and grandparents are inconsolable … It just seems a bit hypocritical from someone who claims to have peace and privacy and is trying to cash in on it all.
“He says he wants nothing to do with his family, but he is now switching them by using one of his football father’s legacies – the World Cup – as a selling point for advertising.
“Brooklyn is absolutely entitled to go and make his own money — his parents applaud such ambitions — but it’s not one to take the mick out of a deep-rooted, heartbreaking family situation.”
