Although it’s advertised as a cream, the moisturizer actually has a jelly-like formula that’s packed with ingredients that not only hydrate the skin, but also plump it up and reduce signs of aging. The Collagen Jelly Cream contains freeze-dried hydrolyzed collagen, which is what gives it its moisturizing benefits, plumping the skin to reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

It also contains niacinamide, which improves the contours of your face and increases firmness, giving your skin an instant “glass” effect that is tight and radiant. Other skin-loving ingredients include squalene, elastin and hyaluronic acid, which improve elasticity and your moisture barrier while evening out your skin tone.

The texture of Collagen Jelly Cream is what makes it sink deep into your skin, and it has a lightweight formula that soaks in and moisturizes it from the inside out. If you prefer a more traditional cream formula as opposed to a jelly, it is Dynasty cream from Beauty Of Joseon is a good alternative.

Also from a K-beauty brand, the moisturizer is affordable at just £21 for a 50ml tub or £39.50 for a 100ml tube. It smoothes wrinkles and leaves skin dewy, plump and bouncy, with rice bran water and ginseng root water to hydrate and nourish the skin.

You can also pick up Anua PDRN Hyaluronic Acid 100 Moisturizing Cream for £24 for 60ml, which is ideal for transforming dull, dry skin into a complexion that is visibly brighter and more hydrated. It contains PDNR, hyaluronic acid and collagen to give skin a smooth, velvety feel and reduce texture and roughness.

However, Medicube Collagen Jelly Cream is not only the most affordable, but has been praised by beauty lovers at Sephora. With a rating of 4.7 stars, it has been praised for how hydrated and smooth it leaves the skin.

One shopper said: “On my 3rd pot. Excellent product. Leaves skin moisturized with a ‘Korean glow’. Absorbs well.”

Another wrote: “Worth it. My skin has changed so much using this. My pores are smaller and skin texture has become smoother.”

However, one user said: “Bought this after seeing the reviews but I feel it’s not for me as I started breaking out after use so I’ve given it a break, try again and see.”

While another warned: “Doesn’t feel good on oily acne-prone skin. Feels really heavy.”

Others, however, were impressed with the results from Collagen Jelly Creamin a saying: “I absolutely love this product. The first use I could tell the difference and it just keeps getting better.”

Another agreed: “I haven’t been using it for very long, but I have noticed the improved hydration for my skin. I find it a bit sticky when first applied, but once it’s absorbed it tends to feel less sticky. You don’t need to use a lot of product so it’s very cost effective.”
