Jeremy Clarkson gave two lucky England fans tickets to the World Cup match against Ghana just before the match kicked off in Boston.

The Clarkson’s Farm star, who recently announced his cancer diagnosis, traveled to the US to watch captain Harry Kane and the England team play their second game of the tournament. But despite making the trip across the pond, Jeremy changed his mind about taking part.

Instead, the 66-year-old offered his tickets to fans at X, sparking a frenzy when he wrote: “I’ve got two tickets for the England game in Boston this afternoon. Anyone want them? I’m in Boston and I’ve got these 2 extra tickets. To get them you have to be in Boston too.”

Regarding his generosity, he revealed that the reason for his decision to sit out had more to do with the weather than anything else.

“I didn’t want to get soaked at my first World Cup game in England, so I decided to treat someone without tickets,” he shared The sun. “I offered them on a first-come, first-served basis to all the England fans in Boston and they went almost instantly to two lads who couldn’t believe their luck.

“It was great to treat them and I hope they enjoy Boston as much as I do. The atmosphere has been great.”

Lucky fans Derry Thoma and Gary Collier took the tickets and met Jeremy in person to collect them. In a twist, he explained that the couple are from Selby in Yorkshire, just a few miles from where he was born.

“I bet when they woke up in Boston with no tickets, they never dreamed that Jeremy Clarkson would get them into the game,” he added. “But I have to say X was in for a treat when I offered them online and my tickets were snapped up in no time.”

Jeremy has had a tough few months after revealing his battle with prostate cancer last week in the season finale of Clarkson’s Farm.

Speaking to his colleagues and close friends in emotional scenes – filmed between 2024 and 2025 – he explained that the cancer was “aggressive” but had been caught early.

Offers an update on his condition in an interview with The Timeshe has since confirmed that he is now in remission, as a follow-up PSA test two months ago revealed no signs of cancer.

“I am without a doubt, officially, the luckiest man in the world. It was an aggressive form of cancer. It could have spread, it could have gone into the pancreas, it could have gone anywhere and it would have been a mess,” he declared.

“That’s why I have to say to everyone reading this, please, please, please go and get checked. It’s not uncomfortable, it’s not undignified. And it’s an easy thing.

“I did, and that’s why I’m sitting here talking to you 11 months later. I’ve seen so many people die from cancer. I can’t bear to think what it must be like to live knowing that a disease is going to kill you.”
