A cast shakeup is reportedly on the way Cottage on the heels of “Scam”, which saw the disclosure of Amanda Batula and West Wilsonshocking romance.
After West’s out of the seriesan insider has revealed new details about what season 11 cast will look like, including which member of the show will be front and center whose role has been reduced prior to production, and what stories viewers can expect to see on the upcoming episodes.
“The producers bet it all on (Ciara Miller),” an insider revealed to The American Sun on June 22. “Whatever Ciara wants, she’ll get to come back, so count on her leading the charge next season. Bravo fully sees her as the star of the show and the future of the franchise, and they need her to come back. They’ll basically pay or do whatever it takes to make it happen, and so far, it’s working.”
According to the source, producers are restructuring the show around Ciara, 30, demoting Amanda, 34.
“Amanda is expected to return in a more limited role,” the source said. “Ciara is open to filming certain scenes with Amanda and agreed to do so for the audience, along with select scenes with the cast. But Amanda will not be back full-time. Next season of Cottage will look completely different from what the audience is used to. It will be a fresh start with a whole new feel for the show as a whole.”
While Kyle Cooke43, denied that he was leaving the show in a post shared on Instagram days ago, the source suggested that he would be stepping down to focus more of his time on his beverage company, Loverboy.
The insider went on to note that the Season 11 storyline would center around the fallout between Amanda and West, 31, and Ciara and Kyle, noting that Lindsay Hubbard39, Carl Radke41 and Jesse Solomon32, would also join.
Regarding the rest of the cast, incl KJ Dillard28, Mia Calabrese34, Bailey Taylor30 and Levi Sebree29, the outlet said their returns have not yet been determined.
Cottage season 11 is expected to begin production sometime in July.
