Congratulations are in order for Jenni “JWoww” Farley and her new man Zack Carpinello!
The “Jersey Shore” star tied the knot with the pro wrestler after seven years together Wednesday at the Madison Modern Social in Old Bridge, New Jersey, reports People.
The new bride surprised their wedding guests with the ceremony, inviting 50 friends and family members to the venue for what they believed to be a special screening of her upcoming film, “Nanny Cam.”
Instead, the guests were welcomed by the town’s local mayor, who unveiled the surprise and acted as the wedding officiant.
“We envisioned a small, meaningful celebration focused on the people who mean the most to us,” Farley shared.
“We weren’t interested in having the biggest wedding possible,” she continued. “We wanted an unforgettable moment shared with our closest family and friends. The goal was to create memories, not create a production.”
Farley, 41, continued: “More than anything, we wanted the day to feel authentic to us. The element of surprise, the family focus and the intimate guest list allowed us to create something personal and meaningful.”
To pull off the big surprise, the couple created movie-themed invitations and even rolled out a red carpet at the event space.
“We spent months keeping this a secret, creating invitations, planning the movie-themed details and building the surprise,” the newlyweds explained of what they called “a moment we’ll never forget.”
With their unconventional theme, Carpinello, 31, walked down the aisle to “The Name’s Bond..James Bond.” The song, which was composed by David Arnold, was featured in “Casino Royale”.
Farley walked up to her now-husband to the tune of Lana Del Rey’s “Young and Beautiful” — the same song her best friend Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi used for her first dance at her wedding to Jionni LaValle in 2014.
The move was a “tribute to my best friend,” Farley explained.
