Kane Brown is recovering from a horrific head injury.
The 32-year-old country singer was scheduled to perform at Tight Ends & Friends Concert presented by Sports Illustrated and Reese’s in Nashville on Tuesday, June 23, but had to miss the event after he suffered a concussion from being hit in the head by a golf ball.
“Kane Brown was hit with a golf ball today on the golf course; 23 stitches,” former NFL player Will Compton said, before joking: “He says concussion – the football guys probably don’t buy it.”

same day, Kane took to his seat Instagram story to share some photos and details of his injuries.
“Shot in the head by a golf ball,” he wrote, showing off his bloody ear.

In the second picture, Kane showed the seams and wrote: “Just a scratch.”
The “Used to Love You Sober” singer then shared a series of selfies, writing, “That said it’s probably going to get worse for the next 48 hours but I’m alive and that’s all the hell that matters.”

The following day, Kane‘s wife Katelyn took to himself Instagram story to share more context about his injury.
“This was not a golf ball that had gone through the air and lost momentum. He was right next to it,” she said in the video. “It could have been so much worse.”
Katelyn continued: “We got good news after his CT scans – nothing internal, no skull fracture – it was all pretty much external with a minor concussion. We were so relieved.”
While Kane was forced to miss Tight Ends & Friends concert, Taylor Swift ended up giving one surprise performance of one of her biggest songs!
We wish Kane Brown a speedy recovery!
