Catie’s story has already sparked debate about her drinking, her habit of kissing or trying to kiss other people, and her comments linking this behavior to OCD/obsessions.
In a clip from a recent episode, things escalated when Josh saw Catie drunkenly asking several men for kisses at her birthday party, including Ryan, a friend she had previously dated. Josh said he felt the “slack” he gave Catie was “thrown in my face.”
However, the excitement has not only been about partying. In another clip, Josh pushed back after Catie rejected his request for a dining table and chairs, saying he felt she was treating him like he was “a bit stupid.”
After viewers flooded him with comments telling him to “run,” Josh responded online, acknowledging that people might look at his relationship with Catie and think, “What the f—,” but said he was tired of strangers acting like authorities in his life.
He asked one critic to “change the channel and read a book”, reminding others: “You do. Enjoy the show!”
