Barbra Streisand made a rare appearance to bless Anne Hathaway‘s recently announced pregnancy.
“To Anne & Adam, congratulations on your pregnancy!” Streisand, 84, wrote via Instagram on Friday, June 19, referring to Hathaway, 43, and her husband, Adam Shulman. “Mazel rope, Barbra xo.”
Streisand also uploaded a sweet photo of the two women posing for the camera as they Funny girl icon rested a hand on Hathaway’s stomach.
Hathaway, who previously collaborated with Streisand on a 2016 cover of “At the Ballet” from A chorus lineannounced earlier Friday that she is expecting her third child.

“Baby I’m Yours,” the The Devil Wears Prada the star captioned an Instagram video of her cradling her baby bump in a white sundress.
Hathaway and Shulman, 45, are already parents of sons Jonathan, 10, and Jack, 6.
“I love that being a mom of boys has really informed my fashion,” Hathaway shared People in April interview. “I always have to be able to go from a serious business meeting to, say, a basketball court. You have to be able to play pickup basketball at any time, in any outfit. So (I tell myself): When you get dressed in the morning, dress sensibly because you’re 100 percent going to have a projectile thrown at you, probably by the end of breakfast.”

Still, Hathaway loves raising her sons.
“I just feel very lucky. I know not everyone who wants to be a parent gets it,” she added. “I’m just blown away by how lucky I am. It went really well for me twice and that’s really lucky.”
Hathaway, who has not publicly revealed the gender of baby No. 3, previously had a spontaneous abortion in 2015, while portraying a pregnant character in the off-Broadway production of Grounded.
“The first time it didn’t work for me. I was doing a play and I had to give birth on stage every night,” she shared Vanity Fair in March 2024. “It was too much to take in as I stood on stage and pretended everything was fine.”
“It’s really hard to want something so badly and wonder if you’re doing something wrong,” she admitted at the time.
