Donald Trump faces new ‘falling asleep’ accusations at White House UFC event


Donald Trump can’t seem to escape accusations of sleeping during official events, where onlookers continuously share footage depicting the president in a drowsy state. The latest clip, which features Trump dozing off in a public place, has emerged from the recently conducted UFC Freedom 250 caseswhich took place on the occasion of his 80th birthday.

Right after the conclusion of the UFC Freedom 250 event at the White House, clips of the POTUS presumably taking a nap during the function began circulating on the Internet.

Ed Krassenstein was one such social media user who took to X (formerly Twitter) account for posting a video of Donald Trump apparently sleeping while a fight continued. “How is this even happening? Trump appears to have fallen asleep at the UFC event at the White House? 25th amendment now!” he wrote as the caption to his post.

One Trump criticizes himself mocked the Republican Party leader, writing: “Give the man a break. He’s 80. We have to remember he’s an old man and old people need grandpa naps.”

However, not everyone agreed with the backlash against Donald Trump for allegedly sleeping during the latest UFC event. “Such good camera quality all while looking through the fence too. Of course this is sarcasm as it’s so bad of a video quality you can’t tell if his eyes are open or closed. Tougher DNC propagandist,” said an X user.

Another follower of the president remarked, “Well, if you were as old as him and worked as much as he did, which you probably couldn’t, you’d be sleeping too.”

Meanwhile, in response to the discourse surrounding Donald Trump allegedly sleeping during Freedom 250, spokesman Davis Ingle told The independent”If you think President Trump slept during the historic UFC Freedom 250 event at the White House, you’re either blind or stupid.”
