She continued, “Most nights you didn’t even get those two.”

The star went on to reveal that red wine was Aidan’s drink of choice and the islanders soon followed suit, realizing it got them the most “drunk”.

Ope joked: “It’s not much, but it gets you a bit buzzy. Like ‘oh, I fancy a fight’.”

The alcohol rule has left viewers divided over the years, with one person writing on social media: “Hear me out #LoveIsland but the contestants have access to their phones and their regular unlimited vices eg alcohol.”
