It’s official – Every year after has been renewed for a second season!!
Prime video revealed the exciting news on Saturday (June 27) at the streamer Obsessed Party in Los Angeles according to Black.
As previously speculated, season two will center on the author Carly Fortunesequel book,”A golden summer,” which focuses on Michael Bradways character Charlie Florek as he finds love.
What is “One Golden Summer” about?
Good things are happening at the lake. That’s what Alice’s grandmother says, and it’s true. Alice spent only one summer there in a cottage with Nan when she was seventeen – it was there that she took that picture, the one of three laughing teenagers in a yellow speedboat, the picture that changed her life.
Now Alice lives behind a lens. As a photographer, she is most comfortable on the sidelines, letting other people shine. Lately, though, she’s been itching for something more, and when Nan falls and breaks her hip, Alice comes up with a plan for both of them: another summer in the magical place of Barry’s Bay. But as soon as they calm down, their peace is disturbed by the roar of a familiar yellow boat and the man driving it.
Charlie Florek was nineteen when Alice took his picture from afar. Now he’s all grown up – a shameless flirt who manages to make Nan laugh and Alice longs to be seventeen again, when life was simpler, when taking pictures was just for fun. Sunny days and warm nights out on the lake with Charlie are balm to Alice’s soul, but when she looks up and sees his piercing green gaze directly at her, she begins to worry about her heart.
Because Alice sees people – that’s why she’s so good at what she does – but she’s never met anyone who sees and sees her right back.
Those confirmed to return for season two include Michaelof course also Matt Cornett as Sam Florek, Sadie Overall as Percy Fraser, Abigail Cowen as Delilah Mason, Aurora Perrineau as Chantal and Joseph Chiu as Jordie Lin. Showrunner Amy B Harris is also set to return.
