Heidi Montag breaks her silence after her husband Spencer Prattthe latest political loss.
The 39-year-old “I’ll Do It” singer and The hills alum has taken to social media to praise her husband he lost the Los Angeles mayoral race to councillor Nithya Raman.
Spencer and Nithya vied for second place in the run-off election in November, to go up against the incumbents Karen Basswho secured his own place on the ballot early on, but did not get enough votes to avoid a runoff.
Now, Heidi has spoken days after the race was called Nithya to advance.
“I couldn’t love my husband more and be more proud of him. What an inspiration, what a hero,” Heidi signed on Twitter/X.
She followed up with additional posts, writing “God bless America” and “So grateful to be born in America, this beautiful free country. Thank you God.”
Heidi‘s word comes a few days after Spencer admitted the race by sharing a video slamming his opponents and calling them names.
“Now every problem that plagues Los Angeles because of these two corrupt communists will accelerate and this city will tumble far into the abyss,” he said. “You have no idea how many major developers, hoteliers, business owners, entrepreneurs have texted me saying they’re packing up and leaving town.”
