Lala Kent remembered being nearby Tom Sandoval and James Kennedy last week for the grand opening of Lisa Vanderpump‘s Las Vegas hotel. The star also told why she did not participate Jasmine Goode‘s wedding to Melissa Carelli.
In the new season of The valleyLala is apparently at odds with Jasmine, who suggested that Lala wouldn’t be friends with many of her co-stars if it weren’t for the show. Lala is also not close to her former costars Sandoval or James (who was arrested in 2024 on suspicion of domestic violence, though the charges were dropped). James recently confirmed that his girlfriend Jordan Meyers is pregnant.
On Unconventional Lalathe star recalled being around Sandoval and James as they walked to the grand opening.
“I flew JetSuite X … I see Alex Baskinis like my security blanket. So I was sitting with him and then in comes Tom Sandoval who is also on my flight and then in comes James Kennedy with his girlfriend,” she said via @vanderpodrecaps on Instagram. “I just thought, wow, I never thought I’d ever be on a plane with all these people.”
“I met James’ girlfriend. She’s blonde, she’s super cute,” Lala added. “James looked great. I didn’t say much to him other than, hey, how are you?”
“How about a congratulations?” asked Lala’s brother and co-host Easton.
“Congratulations? Honestly, I didn’t even acknowledge it because I don’t think they confirmed it,” she replied. “Maybe they confirmed it. I don’t know.”
Lala said she was still in Sandoval and Kennedy’s orbit after they arrived.
“We land and they have like three different cars to pick everyone up from Jet Suite X. And then it’s myself, Kiana (Carroll), SchwartzyTom Sandoval, James, James’ new boyfriend in this car,” she explained. “You guys, I was like, I literally said out loud, I never thought any of us would be in the same fucking car again.”
Later, Lala spoke at Jasmine and Melissa’s wedding.
“I got texts that were like, oh my god, I can’t believe you weren’t invited,” the star said. “I was invited. And it was really sad. Of course very happy. Like I knew where I was going. (My friend) Candice‘s baby shower. Friend for more than 30 years. So that’s where I was.”
“(Candice has) been trying for a baby for eight years,” she said. “And finally we get to celebrate her. So that was obviously where I needed to be. … I had FOMO, and I’ve never had FOMO. I was crazy FOMO because it just looked like such authentic love. It didn’t seem like it was a show for anybody.”
