Lee Andrews faces return to prison in 14 days after ‘speaking out’

Andrews claimed that “Katie has been his rock” throughout this trouble, but he won’t rely on her to pay his debts, adding that he “would be able to raise the capital himself”

Lee Andrews faces being taken back to prison in 14 days if he fails to pay his debts, according to reports after documents released revealed the extent of his money problems.

Katie Price’s husband43, went MIA for weeks with the star worried about his whereabouts fears he was ‘kidnapped’.

However, it has since been revealed that he was in Al Awir Central Prison in Dubai on fraud charges, but he has insisted he was actually jailed for espionage.

Reunited with his wife after being released from prison, Lee posted a video on Instagram with a new AI-edited hairstyle.

Now, according to reports, a Dubai court has told Lee that he must pay his outstanding debt within two weeks or he will be jailed again.

Documents show Lee has debts, including £54,000 relating to the hire of a hire car and £15,000 to a law firm in the United Arab Emirates, which launched his first arrest warrant.

It is reported that Lee is not yet ‘actively wanted’ by police officials but must pay this debt within 14 days.

A representative for Lee said The sun: “The judgment debtor appeared in court and was questioned about the reason for non-payment of the debt.

“He said his wife is currently out of the country and he has not been able to access his bank account which is required to make the payment.

“He requested a period of 14 days to settle the outstanding amount.”

The Mirror has also contacted Lee’s representatives.

A source added: “Lee managed to talk himself out of jail and said he would be able to raise the capital himself.

“He says Katie has been his rock and helped him stay in touch with officials when he was beaten up – but that he hasn’t asked her to pay any of his debts. He insists he can do it himself.”

Katie said her husband had “questions to answer” about his so-called fortune when he was released but appears to have taken it back.

Lee continues to insist that he was imprisoned on suspicion of espionage ‘and held in a state security building’ regarding a ‘civil case in Dubai’, even though there is ample evidence to support the claim that he was arrested on suspicion of fraud.

Writing on Instagram, he said there is “not one shred of evidence” that he had been accused of fraud, hitting back at claims made by his ex-fiancée Alana Percival.

He claimed he was “taken off Qatar the border of the men, with pistol shots and was captured by men with assault rifles, they beat me around a little bit, little s***s.

“From there I was taken to a black place where I had no use for my phone and as far as I know it was an extended arm of the National Guard and that’s all I can reveal at the moment.

“I signed waivers with state security and from there I was put into the system. At no time have I faced anything to do with allegations of fraud or criminal activity.”

Lee added that Katie managed to ‘secure her release’ after working with British authorities.

He added that he is “sending these messages to my loved ones and my beautiful wife, without her help involving all the British authorities, I don’t think I would have got out of that situation.”

In the video, he went on to claim that he was arrested on suspicion of espionage, “because of the tensions and things happening in the region and being so close to the border, that’s why I was suspected of espionage and kept in a state security building without the use of a phone or any rights to a shower, contact or to talk to any of my family or wife, including the embassy.”

“So thanks to Katie for making such a fuss that the UAE actually listened and let me go.”

He went on to detail how he was then jailed: “From there I had a civil case in Dubai which led to me going into the regular jail during the Arab holidays, Eid.

“I was able to secure my release and I’m here now, so thanks to everyone for listening and love and blessings to everyone.”

It was reported last week that the self-proclaimed billionaire was jailed at Al Awir Central Prison on fraud charges last month, with Katie revealing that a six-figure fee will be paid for his release.

Despite claims that shortly after his wedding Lee took out a £200,000 mortgage in his ex Dina Taji’s name without her knowledge, Lee doubled down on his claims that there are no fraud allegations against him.

Lee said: “There is not a shred of evidence that I have taken out a mortgage in anyone else’s name, especially in my ex-fiancee’s name Dina.

“If I were to take out a mortgage in someone else’s name, wouldn’t she get the mortgage? How does that work? What would I get out of signing her name? That’s definitely not the case. So let her take the mortgage.”

He then called out another of his exes, Alana Percival, who he said spread the story.

“This is a story that has come out and has come from Alana, my ex, who I was with for a minute, I was engaged to her for a maximum of six days. I didn’t spend any time with her, I was with her for a maximum of thirty days total, and she has never been cheated on.

“Actually, I bought her everything. If you refer to her first article because she’s just fame hungry, where she said I bombarded her, got her the car, got her the apartment, which is true, paid for her dad, gave her money, gave her dad money.”

According to reports, Katie went to Dubai to pay a fee to release her husband, but on arrival she found that this amount had increased to £140,000 due to his involvement in another case.

When discussing setting up a fundraiser to get the money, the model told her husband that “everyone hates you”.

Katie has stated that she will not pay money for a man again after several failed marriages, but she supports Lee.

She said: “This is real, this is real life; this is my life. It’s been a tough few weeks, don’t get me wrong. But I’ve still been strong through it all and I’ve got a smile on my face.

“So in this situation I do what I want and I’m out here in Dubai because I’m here to help Lee.

“Some people might not like my choices, but I don’t live for everybody else. I know people have called me stupid, I see all the trolling, I hear it. I’m not stupid.”
