New poll shows Americans’ confidence in Donald Trump’s health report
According to a recent poll, the majority of Americans tend to believe that their 80-year-old president is far from in perfect medical condition.
Tim Malloy, Quinnipiac University’s poll analyst, summed up the section on Donald Trump’s health by saying, “Is the president physically and mentally healthy? On both issues, half of voters have their concerns, and a majority believe the White House is keeping them in the dark.”
Notably, 59% of respondents questioned the White House’s statements regarding the POTUS’s health, with only 34% stating that the establishment has been transparent about his mental and physical condition.
Meanwhile, half of the voters noted that, given what they have seen, Donald Trump does not appear to have the perfect physical health that he so often claims. Nevertheless, 46% admitted that they do not suspect Trump of having any physical ailments.
Furthermore, 51% of survey participants questioned the mental health of the Republican leader, with 46% agreeing that Trump is mentally healthy at the moment.
In particular, Americans began to raise concerns about Donald Trump’s health after the emergence of alleged reports that the president apparently slept through official events. The most recent instance occurred during his 80th birthday, when he organized UFC Freedom 250 cases. In several photos from the event, Trump appeared dozed off while sitting in the audience.
Similarly, people have also claimed that the businessman-turned-politician has put makeup on his hands to hide bruises. While pictures from his latest meeting with the NATO secretary apparently highlighted a purple scar on his left hand, his appearance at the G7 summit reportedly showed a crescent-shaped bruise.
Nevertheless, Donald Trump and the White House have routinely dismissed any speculation about his health.
