Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo recently announced that they were end their marriage after almost a decade. The couple is reportedly still on good terms and hoping so have a child together. Nicole Arbour, a comedian who has been on bad terms with them for years, believes there is more to the story. She accused them of using the news of the divorce as a PR stunt.
Nicole Arbor said Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo’s divorce is a PR stunt
Arbour, a comedian and musician, has accused Jelly Roll of orchestrating a smear campaign against her following her collaboration with country rapper Ryan Upchurch. She also accused Bunnie and Jelly Roll of using their divorce as a PR strategy.
“Jelly Roll and his wife will create a public relations scandal,” she said New York Post. “I believe this divorce is. They create a gigantic scandal with the press that they walk out of and then launch something.”
She did not reveal what she thinks Jelly Roll and Bunnie hopes to launch.
She released a diss track about him
Arbor has made a number of claims about Jelly Roll. She claimed he had spread false stories about her and that she heard he was trying to kill her. Arbor has also claimed that Jelly Roll once verbally assaulted her. They reportedly tried to work out a solution with her, but Arbor said she refused. Instead, she released a diss track called “Cosplay Christian.”
“They sent me a hush money agreement,” Arbor said. “I said, ‘F*** you,’ and dropped ‘Cosplay Christian.’
Jelly Roll is a born-again Christianand Arbor accuses him of not being genuine in his faith.
“Cosplay Christian moral clash, say you found God but you really found money / Cover up your crimes, got media on staff / Sad emoji promo pics that make me laugh,” she sings.
Bunnie Xo said her divorce from Jelly Roll is amicable
According to Bunnie, her divorce from Jelly Roll is on good terms. She said they were already close to reaching a settlement.
“My husband and I are ending this marriage on the best possible terms,” she said of her Stupid blonde podcast. “We’re literally settling our divorce. We’ve done it in two weeks, three weeks.”
In their settlement, he gives her a residence with three houses, which she largely designed herself.
“J is so damn nice that he’s giving me that drug in the divorce,” she said, “because he knows how special it is to me.”
According to her, they even plan to have a child together. They are hoping to get pregnant through IVF and have already found a surrogate.
“That’s my damn best friend, dude. Like, I love him,” she said. “And you’re going to be shocked to hear this, but we still have a baby. We’ve been the most unconventional couple you’ve ever met.”
