RHORI Reunion Recap: Rulla Calls Jo-Ellen a “Sl*t” and Accuses Her of Sleeping with Doctors

RHORI Reunion Recap: Rulla calls Jo-Ellen a "Sl*t" and accuses her of sleeping with doctors when Jo-Ellen threatens to break her nose; Liz claims that Jo-Ellen and Alicia set her up, Jo-Ellen notices a "psychopath," and Rosie and Kelsey Go at It

Andy is ready to “grill Rhode Island’s most iconic gems.” The cast literally walk the plank to get to the stage and prepare for what will happen in the first part of The Real Housewives of Rhode Island

Roll went ahead and got her rhinoplasty and lip lift and Alicia still can’t believe a “crackah” would leave like that. One of the most organic things about this group is the history among them. Take for example Liz and Alicia. Liz literally remembers when Alicia was born!

But it took a minute for most of the viewers to try to tell the difference between the actors. Liz can’t understand what was so hard and states that she didn’t bring one Dolores picture for plastic surgery inspo.

From today, Rosie still trying to coexist with Kelsey. Kelsey has been privy to a lot of information prior to filming and has always disliked Rosie’s competitive nature towards Kelsey. Their beef didn’t stem from Rosie not posting after Kelsey cut her hair, but rather because Rosie posted everything before everyone else. Ashley jumps in to say that because Rosie paid Kelsey (and sent a nice text), Rosie thought the transaction was done.

Kelsey refers to Rosie as a silent killer who has been egging her on all season. The fights escalated, especially when Rosie referred to Kelsey as a “slum pig.” Rosie explains that slam pig is an expression she learned from one of Alicia’s friends. Apparently, slam pig is “just a word you use when you’re upset.” Rosie doesn’t really think Kelsey is, but Kelsey came after everything in her life.

Rosie is tired of Kelsey taking a moment at her expense, and yes, there IS a siren ordinance in her neighborhood (“I’m surprised you don’t know” – Scroll to Jo-Ellen). Rosie points out that Kelsey doesn’t even have a house, but Kelsey explains that it’s all about the truth. And when it comes to Kelsey’s ex, Rosie reminds us that “the only other coworker he had was a girlfriend in Florida.” Up.

Jo-Ellen and Kelsey question whether Rosie slept with a trainer … which was a hot topic on Reddit 3½ years ago. During that time, the coach had an affair with a student reporter, according to Rosie. But Jo-Ellen claims there was a cop who pulled the car over with Rosie in it. Turns out this guy got a DUI and Rosie’s name was in the police report.

Rosie continues to deny this and demands to have the police report. There was never a picture, never a video of Rosie in a questionable position with this guy! Jo-Ellen claims she spoke to a couple of officers who have seen the police report, and Rosie explains that Jo-Ellen hasn’t seen it herself because it’s NOT REAL. Liz thinks Rosie and Kelsey are more alike than they think they are, but Rosie doesn’t care where their future is headed.

Liz’s cat has passed away since filming, but she’s now a grandma…excuse me, a GiGi. When it comes to her family, Liz going from no kids to three kids really changed her life. There was a time when she was supposed to have her own children with Jerry, but the time never came. Rulla explains that just because she didn’t carry Jerry’s kids doesn’t make Liz any less of a mother.

But Rulla likes to stir the pot. She repeats the line, “When the cat’s gone, the mice must play,” insinuating that Liz cheated on her husband. Rulla sure has a lot to say about Liz’s marriage. She knows that Liz tried to fill her time with other things and other support systems. Rulla claims she doesn’t know of anything definitive, and Liz demands to talk about what Rulla is implying.

Rulla has seen Liz hanging out with other people who are having a good time, but Liz jumps in to say that there was a time she was separated from Jerry and went to Block Island. She admits that she has met someone she hasn’t seen in 30 years, but the next day Jerry gets a phone call at 6 from Rulla and Brian. Liz’s goal was for Jerry to find out she was with someone else (just not like this), but Rulla swears this is a blatant lie.

Rulla says that people have seen other things about Liz, and Rulla points out that Jerry has supposedly done his part when they’ve had problems. It seems that this infidelity in Liz’s marriage is not an isolated incident according to Rulla.

As for the “ongoing” comment Kelsey made to Liz, it seemed hurtful and embarrassing to Liz because Kelsey knew about the allegations. Despite Liz’s tough exterior, Alicia knows that Liz has “been through a lot.” She’s not one to mess with, and Ashley refers to Liz as “a scary figure.” Liz admits she has a cool personality…

During the break, Rulla demands to speak to Jerry because she swears on her life that she did nothing. Liz brushes her off, claiming that Jerry doesn’t even know what day of the week it is. LOL.

Ashley’s cry count for the season brought her to 7. We’re told Ashley moved to RI in 2021 and the only person she knew before the show was Rosie. Because Ashley is close to Rosie, she has never been invited by Kelsey to do anything. Ashley’s loyalty to Rosie shows how special their friendship is, and Ashley gets emotional when he talks about how Rosie fits their friendship into her lifestyle. BTW: Audrey’s is doing much better since the show, but its success makes things more difficult.

Right now, Jo-Ellen’s relationship with her mother is not going well. On top of that, Jo-Ellen was fired and believes that Brian calling his colleague certainly did not help the situation. Jo-Ellen just decided that work is too much right now and she wants to be a stay-at-home mom. Rulla barges in, prompting Jo-Ellen to ask, “Why is she still here? She’s in three episodes.”

At the next break, Rulla pulls out Brian’s surgery records for the day the alleged video of him cheating was taken. Jo-Ellen reminds Rulla that Brian is the AI committee and they go at each other’s throats during the break until they are told to save it for the cameras.

When Liz said that Alicia wasn’t homeless, she never meant to belittle her feelings, but instead try to protect her from the backlash from those who wouldn’t have taken kindly to it. She apologizes profusely to Alicia, who accepts. Alicia says that having a crappy dad embarrassed her and she lost control of her emotions when Liz kept it up.

Liz points out that she wasn’t the one who brought it up in the car, and she felt assaulted because Jo-Ellen and Alicia were “faking” this situation. Alicia wonders why she would tell Liz if it was a setup! Alicia couldn’t breathe at the moment and denies that she ever told Liz she wanted to bring up the sensitive subject.

Jo-Ellen was surprised at how quickly the situation escalated and how long it continued. According to Liz, Jo-Ellen knew this was coming beforehand. Liz refuses to let Jo-Ellen win and doesn’t trust anything Jo-Ellen says. Jo-Ellen claims she was trying to make it better by putting her hand on Liz. In fact, Jo-Ellen was desperately trying to protect Liz from looking crazy.

Andy makes them break for lunch. Jo-Ellen believes that Liz has feelings of paranoia, while Liz feels assaulted. Jo-Ellen is tired of Rulla interjecting, but once the guys enter the set, things will really shake things up.

After the break, Liz explains that she was mad at Jo-Ellen for setting her up to discuss the conversation. However, Jo-Ellen wasn’t the one freaking out on Alicia in the car. Alicia wonders what’s wrong with Liz and demands that she wake up. Alicia calls it a stupid conversation and if it was a setup it would have been a lot better than that.

Liz calls herself “tactile defensive” but explains that she pushed her and pulled her hair because she just wanted Jo-Ellen away from her. Jo-Ellen calls Liz a not nice person, but Liz wonders if it’s normal behavior to have “your devil hands” on someone for three hours.

Liz wonders where this tale of ever being best friends with Jo-Ellen came from. Liz calls Jo-Ellen a “dangerous mother-f*cker” and says she “embodies something that” her soul rejects, despite celebrating Mother’s Day with her.

According to some of the cast, Jo-Ellen, Liz and Kelsey have a Cranston clique. Alicia became known as the flip-flopper, and Rosie says that there is a certain blind loyalty among the women. At the mansion, Kelsey was a little shy to point out that Rosie was “honest for the first time.” Alicia explains that the ladies tried to sniff out Alicia. Liz admits that they sometimes talked bad about Rosie, proving that Rosie has good reason to be the ladies.

On top of that, Jo-Ellen went ahead and mocked Rosie’s “road trippin'” videos with her own version of the segment. Rulla can’t seem to help herself and continues to throw small jabs into the conversation, calling Jo-Ellen a bitch who sleeps with doctors. Rulla says, “I don’t know what’s bigger—your mouth or what’s between your legs.” She calls Jo-Ellen a wh*re, but Jo-Ellen doesn’t skip a beat, bringing the infidelity spotlight back to Rulla’s husband. Will these two ever figure out how to just coexist with Rosie and Kelsey?
