Silo season 3 is on the horizon, and we’ve got all the scoop on the latest installment of Apple TV’s dystopian science fiction drama. Based on New York Times bestselling trilogy by Hugh Howey, incl Wool Shift, andDust, Silo season 1 premiered on June 30, 2023, followed by season 2 on January 17, 2025. The series was created by Graham Yost, the Emmy-winning film and television screenwriter who also serves as showrunner and executive producer.
Silo tells the story of a group of 10,000 people living in a mysterious underground silo with 144 levels, while also addressing its past, known as “Before Times”. The residents of the Silo believe that all the rules of their society have been put in place to protect them, but a few upstart citizens who want to know the truth have challenged its rules.
When will Silo season 3 premiere?
According to one Apple TV press release, Silo season 3 premieres Friday, July 3, 2026 on Apple TV. The first episode will be followed by a new episode every Friday until the season finale on September 4. There will be ten episodes in the season, the same number as seasons 1 and 2.

Which Silo Cast Members Are Returning For Season 3?
The recurring one Silo season 3 cast includes Rebecca Ferguson (Juliette Nichols)there is also an executive producer, Common (Robert Sims), Harriet Walter (Martha Walker), Chinaza Uche (Paul Billings), Avi Nash (Lukas Kyle), Alexandria Riley (Camille Sims), Shane McRae (Knox), Remmie Milner (Shirley Campbell), Rick Gomez (Patrick Kennedy), Billy PerHan Postleth (Clare McKennedy) and Billy PerHan Postleth).

Tim Robbins (Bernard Holland) was not listed in the Silo season 3 cast list, so it appears that he will not be returning to the series after his character’s season 2 storyline concludes.

According to the press release from Apple TV, Silo season 3, “reveals an origin story set centuries in the past while continuing the saga of a dystopian society of 10,000 people living underground under mysterious circumstances. In the present, Juliette Nichols (Rebecca Ferguson) survives his forced ‘cleaning’ but returns with amnesia as the silo recovers from the rebellion and faces a dangerous new threat. Meanwhile, in ‘Before Times,’ journalist Helen Drew (Jessica Henwick) and Congressman Daniel Keene (Ashley Zukerman) uncover a conspiracy that draws them into a chain of events with catastrophic, irreversible consequences.”
Is there a trailer for Silo season 3?
Apple TV has released a trailer for Silo season 3, which can be viewed on YouTube. The clip reveals that Juliette survived the incinerator fire after being locked inside for three minutes, but has now lost her memories for the past three months, except for the ones she was given. Juliette is sorry, “I look at myself in the mirror and I don’t even know who’s looking back at me.” Rebecca is the only one who ever went out and survived.
The trailer also reveals a split timeline that not only tells Juliette’s story, but flashes back to the past, before the Silo. It looks like Season 3 will finally reveal the Silo’s true origin story. It states that truth lies in the past. It also teases that the end of the world cannot be stopped and it looks like it will fall to Juliette to be the savior of Silo.
Will there be a silo season 4?
Apple TV has already been renewed Silo for a fourth and final season. An exact premiere date has not yet been revealed Silo season 4, but a post on X revealed that it is scheduled to premiere in 2027. As of 24 April 2026, Silo season 4 was in post-production. The X post revealed that the series finale would have “heavy VFX, large scale.” It shared that the back-to-back production model would keep the final chapter on track. The post stated, “Unless there are unexpected technical delays with the massive visual effects, 2027 remains the target release window.”
Silo is an exciting and exciting series that really makes people think. It addresses some of society’s deepest philosophical questions while exploring the complex psychology of the human mind. It will be exciting to finally see something new Silo episodes after a year and a half of waiting. Silo Season 3 is sure to be a fascinating journey.
