They embrace tourist mode!
Spring Break: Brenda sang and Macaulay Culkin It might be California locals, but the bemused parents didn’t look it when they took their sons, Dakota and Carson, to Legoland in Carlsbad, Calif., for spring break in April 2026. “We decided to get the guided tour,” Culkin revealed. “While on this trip, we noticed that we were dressed like real tourists, right down to the fanny pack, soccer mom visor and Crocs.” Might as well lean in! “So instead of fighting, we decided to get down to business and play the part,” the Home Alone actor explained. “We took pictures and selfies at the park’s landmarks. We got lost more than once. We took one of those 30-second naps on one of the benches. We really felt like out-of-towners.” Method actors … or just another pair of tired parents? We accept both answers!
