UFC White House event draws big ratings for Paramount+
The UFC White House event appears to be a success for the UFC and Paramount.
On Sunday, UFC CEO Dana White told the media that the UFC’s White House event was expected to draw massive numbers and that Paramount executives were excited about the future of the sport.
“I got on the phone with David Ellison (CEO of Paramount Skydance) and he’s going crazy,” White said.
“Out of the gates from the first game, the game exceeded all their expectations. I’ll let Paramount make their own announcement, but it was monstrous tonight, monstrous. You don’t get calls from billionaires turning out too often, so he’s extremely excited. I’ll let them do their thing.”
On Thursday they finally released the ratings and they seem pretty happy.
According to Paramount, the entire fight card averaged 7 million viewers in the US. and 1.6 million viewers in Latin America.
