The bungee jumper who died in Brazil after workers allegedly forgot to secure the rope made a now-haunted social media post minutes before her death.

21-year-old Maria Eduarda Rodrigues de Freitas shared a message to her followers Instagram Stories. According to multiple outlets, the young woman posted a timestamp of a watch showing 7:31 a.m. while standing on the São Paulo Bridge.

In the caption for the picture of Skeleton Bridge it is in the city of Limeira, she asked in Portuguese:

So harrowing to know what would happen minutes later… Heart breaking.

As we previously reported, Maria signed up for what was supposed to be an adrenaline-filled adventure Ponte do Esqueleto. In the video that has gone viral on social media, workers at the bungee jumping company can be seen apparently throwing the student off the bridge, only to soon realize that they allegedly forgot to fasten her safety rope.

She plummeted 131 feet to the ground and after first aid arrived, she was pronounced dead at the scene. We just can’t imagine.

Our hearts go out to Mary’s loved ones. May she rest in peace.
