Meghan Markle gives fans another carefully curated look into family life in California.
The Duchess of Sussex recently shared a new batch of photos from her Montecito home, including a sweet photo that appeared to reveal one of Princess Lilibet’s favorite music stars.
The post came just days after Meghan marked her daughter’s fifth birthday with rare family snapshots, putting the spotlight back on the Sussexes’ youngest child, while discussion of the family’s close connection to Beyonce.
Meghan Markle’s latest Instagram the post contained a collection of 11 photos that appeared to have been taken at the family’s Montecito residence.
The Duchess captioned the upload, “Springing into summer” as she showcased several moments from her family’s daily life.
One photograph showed Prince Harry and Prince Archie kicking around an oversized soccer ball, while another captured Harry and Meghan embracing. A separate photo showed the mother-of-two cooking in her kitchen.
Among the photos was a picture of Princess Lilibet wearing a shirt decorated with an illustration of Beyoncé and the phrase “B is for Beyonce.”
As with previous posts, Meghan chose not to reveal her daughter’s face and cropped the photo to protect the five-year-old’s privacy. The shirt itself attracted attention because it seemed to give an insight into one of Lilibet’s interests.
According to the National Women’s History Museum, the design was created by a ten-year-old girl named Pearl and is sold through the organization.
Meghan’s friendship with Beyoncé began in 2019

The latest post also highlighted a connection that goes back several years. Meghan Markle met Beyoncé in public for the first time in July 2019 at the European premiere of Disney’s live-action remake of “The Lion King” in London.
During the event, Harry and Meghan spent time with Beyoncé and Jay-Z, with the singer warmly greeting the couple. “We love you guys,” Beyoncé told the Duke and Duchess of Sussex Daily Mail.
The premiere took place just two months after Archie was born. During the conversation, Jay-Z offered Harry some advice, telling the new father, “Always find some time for yourself.”
He also congratulated the couple as Beyoncé admired their newborn son, saying: “baby, so beautiful.” The interaction became one of the most talked about celebrity moments involving the Sussexes.
Harry also exchanged words with Disney boss Bob Iger during the event and furthered Meghan’s interest in voiceover work.
“You know she does voiceovers,” Harry told Iger. The exchange eventually led to Meghan narrating Disney’s documentary “Elephant” in 2020.
Meghan Markle received public praise from Beyoncé
Meghan and Beyoncé’s friendship actually began before they met in person.
At the 2019 Brit Awards, Beyoncé and Jay-Z accepted an award in front of a portrait depicting Meghan as a royally inspired Mona Lisa.
Explaining the tribute afterwards, Beyoncé wrote”In honor of Black History Month, we bow to one of our Melanated Monas. Congratulations on your pregnancy! We wish you so much happiness.”
Two years later, the “Halo” singer again publicly supported Meghan after the former “Suits” star and her husband’s interview with Oprah Winfrey made headlines around the world.
“Thank you Meghan for your courage and leadership. We are all strengthened and inspired by you,” Beyoncé captioned her website.
The relationship between the women continued to develop as the Sussexes settled into life in the United States.
Meghan revealed that Beyoncé sent her a personal message

One of the most surprising revelations about their friendship came in the Netflix documentary “Harry & Meghan.”
During the series, Meghan Markle revealed that she had received a personal text from the Grammy Award winner following the royal fallout.
“Beyoncé just texted, just checking in… I still can’t believe she knows who I am,” the 44-year-old said. She then shared part of the message she claimed to have received.
“She said she wanted me to feel safe and protected,” Meghan noted. According to Royal, Beyoncé also expressed admiration for her willingness to speak publicly about difficult experiences.
“She admires and respects my bravery and vulnerability and believes I was chosen to break generational curses that need to be healed,” Meghan said.
Meghan Markle recently celebrated Lilibet’s fifth birthday
The latest summer photos followed another family-focused post Meghan shared Instagram earlier this month to celebrate Lilibet turning five.
The happy mum posted a photo showing Harry holding his daughter while Meghan stood next to them and smiled. The barefoot princess wore her long red hair loose, with her face hidden.
“Our dream girl. Happy 5th birthday, Lili,” Meghan wrote. Another photo showed Lilibet standing on the grass in the sunshine, reaching out towards blooming agapanthus flowers.
The celebration came just weeks after the family reportedly enjoyed a Disneyland trip for both Lilibet and Prince Archie’s birthdays.
