Netflix has debuted the new trailer for the upcoming second season of Ransom Canyon!
The drama series from April Blair returns with eight new episodes later this summer, and the trailer teases Minka Kelly‘s Quinn O’Grady now with Ben Robsons new character, but still has an underlying string to it Josh Duhamel‘s Staten Kirkland.
What is Ransom Canyon season two about?
A heartfelt drama set against the sweeping vistas of the Texas Hill Country, Ransom Canyon follows the intersecting lives of deep-rooted families in a town where your neighbors know everyone’s business.
Season 2 picks up six months after the events of the first season, with rancher Staten Kirkland (Duhamel) struggles to reclaim his inheritance after being ousted as administrator of his family’s Double K Ranch, while musician Quinn O’Grady (Kelly) must decide if her heart truly belongs in the small town she once tried to run from, or in the fast-paced world of New York City.

Beyond Josh and Minka reprising their roles, other returning stars include Lizzy Greene, Garrett Wareing, Jack Schumacher, Marianly Tejada, Casey W. Johnson, Brett Cullen, Philip Winchester, Tatanka means, Justin Johnson Cortezand Jennifer Ens.

Ransom Canyon season two, consisting of eight episodes, will premiere on July 23 on Netflix.
