Love Island’s Tommy Murphy says he has ‘bad blood’ with an islander

The Love Island bombshell has revealed the co-star he is unlikely to rekindle with after the show

Dumped Love Island star Tommy Murphy has admitted there could be bad blood between him and his ITV co-star.

The developer, 28, entered the villa like a bomb, but quickly formed strong bonds. He initially teamed up with fan favorite girl Ellie Chadwick, but his head was turned during an unexpected Sleepover Villa twist.

He was one of four islanders summoned to a separate location for a delicious slumber party with new bombs, including dancer Halle Brown.

Although Halle initially had her eye on Simba Kudyiwa, she was later paired up with Tommy after they shared a kiss – following his kiss with Ellie. Tommy had also come under fire for quietly trying to kiss three girls within the same 24 hours.

Things took a sour turn when the new couple was voted one of the least compatible couples in the villaalong with Chidi Ogandu and Mica Harris.

The Islanders then got the power to save their favorite teammate from the lineup, leaving Chidi and Halle with the fewest votes and therefore dumped from the villa.

Newcastle lad Tommy believes this whole ordeal probably caused some tension between him and Halle. After his own exit on Thursday (June 25), he confessed: “I think there could be a bit of bad blood between us, maybe on her behalf. I think she feels I’m responsible for her time being cut short.”

Tommy believes the “bad blood” could prevent the villa exes from reuniting in the real world.

Although the decision to dump Halle was up to the islanders, it was Tommy’s treatment of his ex-partner Ellie that had landed them in the bottom two pairs in the first place.

Despite their tough time together, Tommy also shared positive words about his ITV ex. “When the girls came in from Sleepover, Halle was honestly one of the best girls in there, she had a mean talk,” he explained.

The reality star continued: “When she was talking to you she was very close, very flirtatious, she had a lot of energy. The kiss wasn’t planned – I think I was eating chips in the kitchen before! The connection with Halle just unfolded naturally, I didn’t expect it to be honest, but when we connected I gave it a really good chance.

“The time was cut short, she was a really nice girl, she is a credit to herself and a really good person. I enjoyed the short time I had with Halle, I almost wish I never told the whole thing with the type! Yes, she was not my ideal type on paper, but she was very refreshing! Every conversation she had, she surprised me.”

Tommy’s own exit came after Ellie and Lorenzo gained the power to evict two islanders who had been left vulnerable after a public vote.
