Love Island’s Samraj Toor looks like a completely different person in pre-fame pictures

The 25-year-old model had a number of different looks before rising to fame on the ITV2 reality show

The Love Island cast often look very different when we meet them compared to their pre-reality TV days.

From a tweakment to a hair transplant for a total overhaul of their appearance, fans searching their favorite star’s Instagram pages often dig up old photos where they look completely unrecognizable.

Model Samraj Toor has been in the villa since day one and found a connection with Mica Harris before she friend-zoned him. He moved on with Priya Jaswal but has recently come under fire from viewers at home to bring her along while he revisited his connection with Mica.

Fans were particularly annoyed by Samraj’s inability to tell Priya that he wasn’t really invested in their relationship, even though she gave him ample opportunity to do so. He even told others in the villa that she gave him the “ick” while still being intimate with her at night.

The 25-year-old from Birmingham seems happy with his new connection with Mica, even calling it “the best decision”, but the harmony does not last. His snide remark about Priya having “a big ego” that “puts him off” comes out in tonight’s (June 25) Tea, Receipts and Truths game.

Before his tumultuous turn in the villa, Samraj had a very different look. In a photo from May 2020, the star looks like a completely different person. Instead of his trademark dark locks, he sports an icy blonde buzzcut as he poses with a small pug.

Meanwhile, another photo dated October 2024 shows the model with much longer hair and holding a giant pint glass at what looks like an Oktoberfest event.

Besides his modeling career, Samraj also helps out at his family’s restaurant. Before entering the villa, he revealed to ITV: “Without sounding arrogant, in the outside world I don’t really chase that much, I’m used to girls coming to me. I know in the villa it’s a different dynamic.

“In the beginning I don’t want to push myself out there, I just want to look and see who I like and then go from there.”

Whether he and Mica’s relationship will continue to blossom remains to be seen. Fans will have to keep tuning in Love Island to find out if they have what it takes to win the £50,000 prize pool.

Love Island airs Sunday to Friday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
