Diddy faces new trial over alleged assault –

Sean “Diddy” Combs is fighting a new demand from prosecutor Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, who wants information about Cuba Gooding Jr. as part of his $30 million lawsuit.

According to TMZ, Diddy objected to Jones’ request for documents and information about Gooding, calling it “abusive and inappropriate.” Jones has alleged that Gooding, 58, assaulted him on Diddy’s yacht, but Gooding has not been charged with a crime related to the civil suit.

Jones first sued Diddy in February 2024, alleging he was sexually harassed, drugged and threatened while working on the disgraced music mogul’s 2023 project, The Love Album: Off the Grid.

The lawsuit initially named several defendants, including Diddy’s son Justin, Universal Music Group CEO Sir Lucian Grainge and former Motown Records CEO Ethiopia Habtemariam.

Jones added Gooding as a co-defendant in March 2024, the same day Homeland Security agents raided Diddy’s Los Angeles and Miami homes and shocked the world. Those searches later became part of the federal investigation that led to sex-trafficking and extortion charges against Combs.

Diddy’s latest filing also alleges Jones failed to properly submit medical records in November. Diddy denies all accusations against him.
