It comes after Ariana, who is currently on tour for her Eternal Sunshine album, took to TikTok to criticize the US president Donald Trump77, after one of her songs was used in a White House promotional video.

Ariana’s 2024 track, Bye, was reportedly used in a promotional clip for US Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE), hyping arrests by the federal agency, which came under fire earlier this year after an immigration crackdown left two people dead in Minnesota. Barely two weeks apart, Renee Nicole Good and Alex Jeffrey Pretti were killed after being fatally shot by ICE officers.

Reacting to the TikTok video promoting ICE, which used her track as background music, the We Can’t Be Friends star slammed Trump and his agency, which she claimed was “barbaric” and “inhumane”.

Commenting on the video on TikTok, she fumed: “Please don’t ever use my music in relation to this barbaric, inhumane, disgusting nonsense.” She made her thoughts on ICE crystal clear, signing off: “F**k ICE.”

Black reports that Ariana’s team had been trying to get her song removed from the video, and that the track appeared to be removed after she issued her request.
