Food Network announces new series premiering in July and returns to a fan favorite


Food Network has announced its July 2026 lineup, and it’s making some new series along with bringing back a fan favorite. While some of the shows are new, there will be some familiar faces hosting them as popular Food Network stars step into new roles. A few of the new series offer new twists on old Food Network favorites.

In one Food Network press release, network president Betsy Ayala previewed the July schedule, stating, “Food Network expands its summer slate with bold new originals and content designed to drive audience engagement. Paired with fresh takes on tried-and-true favorites, the lineup offers something for every viewer.”

In July 2026, several new series premiere on the Food Networkbelow Kitchen Chaos, Pitmasters, Restaurant Impossible: Last Call, and Kitchen Undercoveras well as new twists on old favourites, Guy’s Grocery Games: Global Games and Restaurant Impossible: Last Call.

Kitchen Chaos premieres on Wednesday 8 July at 10 p.m. ET. The show will present unpredictable, viral moments in the culinary world, both good and bad. Professional chefs will not only respond to these outrageous scenes, but in some cases offer tips on how to avoid making the same mistakes at home.

Monday 13 July at 9 p.m. ET, Pitmasters makes its debut. This grueling competition is described as unlike anything the Food Network has ever attempted. Pitmasters features a non-stop week-long competition deep in the desert where teams of the best pitmasters compete over live fire. They cook from sunrise to sunset, over and over, to win their share of up to $50,000 in prize money. Andrew Zimmern, Jess Pryles, Moe Cason and Ernest Servantes will serve as the judges who will crown the winning team as the Pitmasters Champion.

At the end of July, Kitchen Undercover premieres, where chef Antonia Lofaso and sous chef Nestor Milian go undercover to save restaurants. While Antonia watches from a secret command center, Nestor will infiltrate the restaurant. Their missions will culminate in Antonia storming in to save the day.

Food Network host Guy Fieri’s Guy’s grocery game gets a new twist Guy’s Grocery Games: Global Gameswith premiere on Wednesday 8 July at 9 p.m. ET. In this new five-part tournament series, eight all-star champions of world cuisine will compete to win the trophy and the $50,000 grand prize.

Restaurant Impossible: Last Call debuts on Thursday 23 July at 8 p.m. ET, reviving the classic series Restaurant impossiblewhich was hosted by Robert Irvine for 22 seasons. Restaurant Impossible: Last Call features chef Aarón Sánchez and Canadian restaurateur Jen Agg as they travel across North America to rescue struggling restaurants. Jens is responsible for solving design and front-of-house problems, while Aarón’s focus is the food.

The Great Food Truck Race returns to the Food Network in July

Sunday 26 July at 9 p.m. ET, The Great Food Truck Race returns for its 19th season on the Food Network, featuring a battle between savory and sweet. Hosted by Tyler Florence, the competition will include four food trucks specializing in savory dishes and four serving sweet treats.

The Great Food Truck Race will begin in Nashville and travel through the Great Smoky Mountains, stopping in cities known for their food scenes. For the first time ever, each week the bottom two teams will compete in a taste redemption match to determine who will continue their journey. The season finale will take place at Churchill Downs in Louisiana, where one truck will win the $50,000 grand prize.

Food Network’s July Schedule is packed with exciting series and it will be so much fun to watch them all. With older shows being updated and new series bringing new adventures, there’s something for everyone. Food Network comes hot in summer.
