General Hospital prediction edition covering July Sweeps, which runs from June 25 to July 20, incl. Valentine Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) returns and plays completely. Plus, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is back to Port Charles, and he scolds someone he loves for a very good reason.
We have predictions for Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes), Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), for Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), Lucas Jones (Van Hansis), Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zampogna), Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke), Valentin, Jason and also for Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna). We touch on what we expect to see during the four weeks of July, with dangerous villains, big payoffs, romance, and the possibility of at least two major deaths.
General Hospital: Cullum’s death on Spoon Island
Our very first prediction, Cullum is killed and good riddance. So summer spoilers to come GH say that a timely arrival gives Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) one last chance to stop Victor, resulting in a bloody battle ahead Spoon Island. That timely arrival can be Carly Corinthos Spencer (Laura Wright) and Lucas because they plan to save Josslyn and Valentin should also be back with Z during the July sweeps.
It could be them too. Many people know that now Cullum is an evil doppelganger agent. So soon Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) finishes the cold fusion prototype, Cullum plans to take it and run, but no one wants him to get away with the dangerous weapon. So he might be killed by Josslyn because of the spoiler that she gets a chance to stop Cullum.
Maybe Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) if he finds out that Cullum tricked him and Cassius sent poison to his sister Britt. But honestly, I would prefer it Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) who takes him out. After everything Cullum did to Anna, the gaslighting about Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) and the emotional torment. I think Anna deserves to be the one to take Cullum out and let him push up daisies.
GH Predictions: Sidwell vs. Sonny – Collateral Damage
Our second prediction, Sidwell versus Sonny death match causes secondary damage. GH Summer spoilers say Sonny and Sidwell go into one final battle, and in the process, several lives are at stake. And we heard from our source that Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) could end up in the crossfire in this Sidwell vs. Sonny showdown. And officially GH spoilers then confirmed it. Our leaker gave more details and said that Justine was going to die. We’ll see.
So it seems Sidwell will also either die or go to jail, which means an actress leaves GH. It makes some sense that Justine also dies because she might have been asked to leave at the same time for family reasons. And of course we’ll have to wait and see if that turns out. It is a real possibility. It’s been a minute since Sonny had a love interest, so it’s a shame to suddenly leave him single again.
General Hospital: Britt’s Life-Changing Revelation
Our third prediction. Britt is back and Lucas tells her she doesn’t have Huntington’s. GH summer spoilers say a huge revelation gives Britt a new lease on life. So right now she thinks she’s dying and has end-stage Huntington’s, but we know that the last medicine Cullum gave Britt was just saline. But since Cullum just put poison in the vials Cassius stole and sent to Britt, there might be more to this.
I suppose Cullum might have been gives Britt the most salt waterbut with occasional doses of poison to keep her shaking and sick and too scared to stop working on the cold fusion project. I suspect when she gets back Lucas will run tests on Britt and then Lucas can tell her she never had Huntington’s. Maybe the first test she took when she was on the run with Jason was a false positive. Or maybe the bad guys planned and Sidwell or Cullum tampered with it to set up Britt’s fake death incident.
New romance on GH – Joe and Lucas
Our fourth prediction, Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) and Lucas go on a very first date. So this summer, spoilers say Lucas will help Joe as he searches for answers, and Lucas will face competition from Joe. Lucas keeps crossing paths with Detective Joe Fitzpatrick lately, and it sounds like they’ll keep crossing paths. So Lucas might be able to help Joe with answers about a case. And once Cullum is dead and Sidwell is either dead or dealt with, Lucas gets closure.
I think that then he can mourn his loss and start to move on with his life. Although Lucas will always love and mourn that loss to some extent, he will eventually move on. And handsome detective Joe could be his next love interest. So I think they’ll end up going on a date soon once the threat of Cullum and Sidwell is behind everyone.
Charlotte and Valentin’s reunion at General Hospital
Our fifth prediction, Charlotte is reunited with her father Valentin and moves in with him and Carly. General Hospital Summer spoilers say Charlotte has more issues with her mother Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan), and this makes her look for new forms of housing. Valentin has already put his freedom on the line, and he did it to try and stop Victor and Sidwell, and he’s currently at risk of being thrown back in prison for the rest of his life.
But I suspect Valentin will be back during sweeps along with the mysterious Z. So I expect he will be reunited with Charlotte. And because there are issues with her and Lulu, it could be related to her telling Danny about Rocco shooting Cullum. Or maybe it has to do with Lulu finding out Charlotte was visiting her fugitive father at Carly’s. And with her finding a new place to live, that might be part of it Laura Collins (Genie Francis). However, I suspect that Charlotte might prefer to move in with Valentin. And I suspect Carly will be so happy to have him back. She will insist that he move in with her and will be perfectly fine with Charlotte coming along.
Jason chews Danny out
Our sixth prediction, Jason chews out Danny Morgan (Asher Jared Antonyzyn). Jason is back. I think it’s July 13th, but he’s not coming back Port Charles first, but very soon. And when he is back to Port Charles and face to face with danny i think jason might be upset if he finds out danny went around blabbing it Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) shot Cullum to Alexis or anyone else for a couple of reasons.
First, remember that Danny wanted to join the mob. Jason wouldn’t like that either. But also, you know what they say in the mob, cheaters get stitches. So Jason won’t like that Dante was ready to torture Rocco to try and get him out of the WSB prison. And second, there’s the fact that Jason literally owes Rocco his life. Although it seemed unlikely that Cullum had gotten over Jason, he had him down. He was about to kill him when Rocco shot Cullum, saving Jason’s life.
I mean, I think he could have covered for Rocco anyway. That’s the kind of guy Jason is. But when Rocco saved his life, of course Jason wasn’t going to let Rocco get into trouble. So Jason might have some things to say to Danny about his choice to rant about Rocco.
General Hospital: Nina takes Jack home
Our seventh and final prediction. Nina comes along Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) home with her. GH spoilers for the summer say that Nina and Jack will get closer when she intercedes on his behalf, and she takes it upon herself to keep him out of harm’s way. So I think we’re going to see Nina take Jack out Turning Woods to recover from her ordeal caused by her accidentally injecting him Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) paralytic.
Victor is his medical proxy, but with him out of commission soon, Nina will take care of Jack, is what I suspect. Nina already wants to protect Jack and I expect a romance for Nina and Jack. And I can see it starting while he’s under Nina’s roof and she’s making sure Jack recovers properly. It has to be better than Turning Woods where he has to pretend to be locked up. Nina’s place is a whole lot better than that.
