North West and Kanye West Matching Wear Gimp Masks on Photos

Northwest publicly marked Father’s Day by sharing rare photos with Dad, Kanye West.

Taking to her Instagram stories on Sunday, June 21, North, 13, shared a throwback photo of herself standing next to Kanye, 49, while wearing a dark-colored gimp mask similar to her father’s. Looking up to Kanye if 2021 Donna album rollout saw the musician and models rocking various full-coverage face masks at the time, North pairing his mask with a bulletproof vest with “Donda” emblazoned across the front.

Kanye wore a vest similar to the one North is wearing, which he shares with his ex-wife Kim Kardashian. “Happy Father’s Day,” North captioned the snap before posting another throwback photo from an even earlier time when she was helping Kanye plan one of his runway shows.

Both posts were accompanied by two of Kanye’s musical hits: 2016’s “Wolves” from Pablo’s lifeand 2008’s “Say You Will” from 808s & Heartbreak.

Kim, 45, also marked Father’s Day via her own Instagram on Sunday, sharing several Instagram stories that focused on her late father, Robert Kardashian. Her first post showed a photo of a handmade card, created by a child Kim’s age, which read: “Happy Father’s Day! Love, Kimberly”, while another Instagram story showed a card with the caption: “He saved every card I wrote him.”

The second card’s message read: “Dad, I just want you to know how much I appreciate everything you do for me. I love working for you. I love you and Happy Father’s Day! Kimberley.” (Kim worked for Robert, who died in 2003 aged 59, in his cinema music business.)

While North rarely shares photos of time spent with Kanye, the couple surprised fans in January with perform together in Mexico. During Kanye’s Mexico City show on January 30, North was brought out as a VIP guest and the pair performed an unreleased duet that was captured via social media at the time.

North is the eldest daughter of Kanye and Kim, who divorced in 2021 after seven years of marriage. The couple also share sons Saint, 10, and Psalm, 7, and daughter Chicago, 8.

Last week, Kim celebrated North’s graduation into teenage years by sharing a loving tribute via Instagram. “Happy birthday my Northiiiiiieeeeeeeeee (Uzi voice!!!),” Kim wrote alongside photos of North over the years. “I can’t believe you are officially a teenager!!!!! There is no one like you my baby girl! I love being your mom and watching you grow. I love you to the alien galaxies you would talk about as a child and beyond. 🖤👽🛸🩵💙.”
