Seth Rogen reiterates that his friendship with James Franco is no more.
The 44-year-old The studio star were friends with the 48-year-old actor for many years, and they worked on several projects together.
In a new interview with New York Times, Seth shared an update on where they stand and if they would ever work together again.
“I’m trying to think about how much I want to personally share about this,” he said. “I honestly think the nuance of it is too personal for me to get into right now. It’s a very personal thing. There’s the public side of it that I’ve talked about and I have the same attitude publicly that I’ve had, and I think the proof is in the pudding — I haven’t worked with him in years.”
“But the personal side of it is just so nuanced and it involves people that I don’t know if I should draw into this,” Seth continued. “I don’t know what I’d benefit from going deep into it. Nothing’s changed since the last time I talked about all this, and I haven’t worked with him in a very long time, and I don’t plan to.”
When asked if he was still talking James, Seth simply said, “I haven’t talked to him in a long time, no.”
Back in October 2024, James said their friendship was overand a few months later, Seth said in an interview that something about his former friend in the media “wasn’t on my radar.”
Before that, in 2021, Seth also said he had no plans to work with James longer after allegations of sexual abuse about him.
