Cottage star West Wilson is about the “Knicks in six” — yes, even if it means the team loses another NBA Finals game.
“This could be the best f***ing thing ever,” Wilson, 31, said on the Friday, June 12, episode of his “Show Me Something” podcast. “I thought (by) Tuesday … I thought I was going to catch my breath and we all moved on and they were like, ‘Bonus episode next week’. I was like, ‘Motherf***ing f***.’
Bravo’s three-parter Cottage season 10 reunion aired earlier this week before the network greenlit a special bonus episode titled “The Aftermath”. The episode turned the cameras back on to capture the emotional fallout from the all-encompassing reunion amid the cast’s latest drama. “The Aftermath” is set to air on Tuesday, June 16, which overlaps with a potential Game 6 of the NBA Finals.
The New York Knicks will play the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday, June 13 for a chance to win the championship. If the Spurs score their second win of the series instead, they will force a Game 6 and the two teams will return to New York City’s Madison Square Garden for another matchup.
“If the Spurs win Saturday and they go back to MSG and they play Game 6, it’s going to be Tuesday night (at) the same time they air this damn, damn bonus episode,” Wilson said. “Give me the damn Knicks in 6 at the same time as this s*** on TV. I’ll be the happiest person in the motherland.”
He continued: “I swear to God, give me the Spurs Saturday and the Knicks on goddamn Tuesday night and we’ll pop champagne on this goddamn podcast on Wednesday.”
The Cottage season 10 reunion revolved around Wilson’s relationship with the costar Amanda Batulawho announced her separation from her husband Kyle Cooke earlier this year. The romance was also particularly surprising for Ciara Millerwho previously dated Wilson and was close friends with Batula, 34.
As Wilson and Batula sought to quell speculation of relationship overlap during the reunion, they sat down with Cooke, 43, and Lindsay Hubbardrespectively on “The Aftermath” to further clear the air.
“Kyle and Lindsay first met in person (before sitting down with West and Amanda) and talked about rising above it all and getting to the bottom of the drama,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly on Friday. “They don’t feel like there was an answer at the reunion. They’re worried about Amanda. They don’t trust West.”
According to the insider, Cooke even tried to ask Wilson if he loved Batula and if the scandal “has been worth it.”
