Guillermo Rodriguez is headed to the ballroom!
Wednesday (June 17) Jimmy Kimmel announced that his sidekick on the late-night show is the latest star to join the cast Dancing with the stars for the upcoming 35th season.
If you didn’t know Guillermo55, first started working as a security guard for the parking lot Kimmel studio back in 2003. After he was caught sleeping in the announcer Dicky Barretthis car, Jimmy invited Guillermo to appear in the show. He then began taking part in sketches on the show and began appearing more regularly on screen before he stayed Jimmy‘s sidekick. In 2011 Guillermo took over major red carpet duties and famously shoots tequila with stars as they arrive at the Oscars.
Guillermo is now the third contestant to be announced for the new season of DWTS. These three stars have also confirmed that they will compete for the Len Goodman mirrorball trophy.
The full cast, including the pros, will be announced on September 2nd Good morning America. Dancing with the stars season 35 will premiere in fall 2026 and will air on ABC, Hulu and Disney+.
