Jay-Z checking out some football!
The 56-year-old “Young Forever” rapper made a surprise appearance for Cote D’Ivoire (also known as Cote d’Ivoire) against Ecuador during the match. WC 2026 on Sunday (June 14) held at Philadelphia Stadium in Philadelphia, Penn.
Jay was seen wearing a white T-shirt and jeans with a black sweatshirt tied around his chest paired with a white bucket hat and sunglasses as he appeared on the field before the game.
While on the pitch, chairman of the Ivorian Football Association Yacine Idriss Diallo presented Jay with a customized jersey. Ivorian player Yan Diomande is signed to Jay’s ROC Nation Sports.
Ivory Coast ended up defeating Ecuador, 1-0. They now travel to Toronto, Canada to face Germany on Saturday, June 20.
During a recent appearance at 2026 Roots Picnicwhich marked his first solo concert in six years, Jay apparently took aim Kanye West, Drakeand Nicki Minaj in a diss-filled freestyle rap.
