Lala Kent detailed a drive-in she brought Paul “PK” Kemsley on Lisa Vanderpump‘s hotel opening on her podcast Wednesday.
After welcoming Dorit Kemsley49, for his podcast earlier this month, the 35-year-old star of the The valley revealed that PK, 58, was surprisingly comfortable when it came to his tone about his estranged wifeand praise her for her success recently published book, Unloadedand admitted to appreciating some of the things she said about him in it.
“Dorit … She and I have a friendly relationship and I love her and think she’s just amazing. But he praised her that she had just become a New York Times bestseller,” Lala shared on the June 17 episode of Unconventional Lalavia Vanderpod Recaps on Instagram. “I had just had her on the podcast and I thought this is such a huge deal. He talked about how proud he was of her and that he was very happy with the podcast, which isn’t always the case.”
“He was happy because it’s so easy to go from being kind to someone to not being, and I really enjoyed wearing Dorit,” she continued.
According to Lala, she cannot remember the good times she shared with her own ex. former fiance Randall Emmett55, so she thought it was nice that Dorit wrote kind things about her past with PK in her book.
“So often when you end up in a situation with your ex where you were once lovers, best friends and kind of a partnership, and then it goes south. I love the fact that Dorit took us back in time, and it’s all in her book as well, but took us back in time to what the relationship was like and she could go there,” she shared. “I know I can’t go there. Even five years later, I’m like, I can’t remember a good time or good thing. So I appreciate when somebody can do that, and PK appreciated that, too.”
“Anyway, thrilled she made the list,” she added.
