Lee Andrews appears to be interrogated by Katie Price as part of a live stunt, teasing that all questions will be answered after twists and turns in their marriage
Lee Andrews appears to be interrogated by Katie Price as part of a live stunt. The Dubai businessman tied the knot with ex-glamour model Katie, 48, in January just a fortnight after they met.
Things took a surprising turn in May when he failed to board a flight to the UK for what was supposed to be their first interview together on Good morning Great Britainand his whereabouts became a complete mystery in the weeks that followed.
Lee eventually reappearing in the infamous Al-Awir prisonand initially claimed he was being held on suspicion of espionage, although it then emerged it was related to debt, but has now teased that he could answer any questions live on camera.
Now back on social media, Lee shared a poster on her Instagram story which read: “THE GRILLING OF LEE ANDREWS BY KATIE PRICE. KATIE NEEDS ANSWERS FROM HER HUSBAND.”
The poster also claimed that it’s all set to take place on Thursday, June 25 in a live stream, urging followers to subscribe to the platform “to get the full uncut answers.”
Amid his big return to social media, Lee has announced plans to launch himself on celebrity greetings site Cameo after offering video messages on his own social platforms before being blocked by Meta.
“Thank you so much for the requests, I’m a bit overwhelmed because there are thousands every second, so before I can answer one, the next one comes and the next one comes.
“You’re all a priority so I’ve had to seek advice from Katie who is more in the business than me. I’m happy to send any message to anyone but this way you can send beautiful personalized messages and I’ll say whatever you want to say.”
In another post, he said: “I’m definitely not a pro at this! I can’t reply to anyone’s messages, Instagram has blocked me from messaging people. I don’t know why. Probably because I’m a convicted felon, no I’m kidding, I can’t send messages out – I’ve broken the rules, that’s what it said – Facebook Community Guidelines.”
After disappearing without trace last month after he failed to join his wife in the UK, Katie claimed her fourth man had been “kidnapped”. But weeks later, Lee turned up at the notorious Al-Awir prison.
He claimed he had been locked up for ‘espionage’. But now the truth has been revealed. The sun claims Lee was jailed for thousands of pounds in unpaid debts, including to a law firm. And it is said he now has just 14 days to repay the costs. This includes 266 Dirhams (£54,000) to a car hire company, Rotanna Star, dating back to 2022.
The other case which resulted in Lee’s arrest is for 74,817.50 Dirhams (£15,000). He is alleged to owe this to a law firm in the United Arab Emirates, with the debt believed to be unpaid legal fees.
Because of Lee’s debt, he had to inform the Dubai CID (Criminal Investigation Department) – but he is not an “actively wanted” man. Representatives for the self-proclaimed millionaire requested that the judge release him so he could access his bank accounts to pay off the remaining debt. In a statement, his representatives said: “The judgment debtor appeared in court and was questioned about the reason for non-payment of the debt.
“He stated that his wife is currently out of the country and that he has not been able to access his bank account required to make payment. He requested 14 days to settle the outstanding amount.”
After his release, Lee also hit on his ex, Alana Percival, after she called both Lee and Katie clowns.
