NBC has announced Destination X season 2 cast, and there are six familiar faces among the competition’s 13 contestants. Hosted by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Destination X turns Europe into a real playing board as the competitors travel blindly around the continent in the dark Destination X bus. Using clues, their goal is to figure out where they are in order to continue progressing through the competition and forming alliances so they can be the one person to win the $250,000 grand prize.
Destination X season 1 was a huge hit for NBC in the summer of 2025. It was the network’s number one new show of the summer, reaching more than 20 million viewers across all platforms. The winner was Rick Szabo, a professional bird watcher from Picton, Ontario, Canada. He defeated runner-up Peter Weber, a pilot who featured on The Bachelor, The Bachelor, and The traitors. Other reality TV stars who attended Destination X Season 1 included Big brother and The challenge Josh Martinez and Love Iceland USA’s JaNa Craig. Now the bus returns at Destination X season 2.
Destination X Season 2 features six Reality TV legends
According to one NBC press release, Destination X season 2 will have 13 contestants and six of them are reality TV legends. They are Dan Gheesling (42, from Dearborn, Michigan, from The traitors and Big brother); Wendell Holland (42, from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, from Survivor); Kaylor Martin (24, of Connellsville, Pennsylvania, from Love Island USA and Love Island: Beyond the Villa); Tiffany Mitchell (45, from Detroit, Michigan, from Big Brother The Challenge, and The traitors); Aesha Scott (34, from Tauranga, New Zealand, from Below deck Mediterranean and Below Deck Down Under); and Nic Vansteenberghe (25, from Jacksonville, Florida, from Love Island USA).
Destination X season 2 will introduce 7 new contestants
Destination X Season 2 will also introduce seven new faces to reality TV, including Will Anderson (27, from St. Louis, Missouri); Lauren Barnwell (21, from San Francisco); Amun Cosme (34, of Warner Robins, Georgia); Lacy Dollar (47, of Munford, Alabama); Matthew Gaston (30, of San Antonio, Texas); Dalen Michaels (24, of Boca Raton, Florida); and Sasha Sloane (29, from Salt Lake City, Utah).
Destination X Season 2 welcomes back host Jeffrey Dean Morgan
Actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan returns as host Destination X season 2. Best known as an actor from The Walking Dead, The Walking Dead: Dead City, Supernatural, and Grey’s AnatomyJeffrey appeared as a reality TV host for the first time last summer. His gruff but charming persona set the tone Destination X like every week, he let the contestants know that the game would push them to their limits and take them out of their comfort zones. However, Jeffrey also supported the competition and greeted each eliminated player with a smile as he revealed their destination to them.
Destination X is a challenging reality competition serieswhich requires contestants to have extensive knowledge of Europe to win the game. It’s not just about what they know though, because who they know becomes very important as the social game is another tricky aspect of the competition. Power shifts frequently on the bus, and participants must navigate not only Europe, but also the complicated web of relationships. The iconic reality stars from Destination X will definitely make season 2 an epic journey.
