Megan Pickford was spotted wearing a denim cowboy hat at England’s World Cup opener against Croatia in Dallas, which England won 4-2. WAG Megan, 30, who in 2022 joined England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, 32, was one of the first WAGs to be spotted on the big night.
Megan arrived at the game wearing a white tank top, blue jeans and matching cowboy hat, apparently a nod to the game, which was held at Dallas Stadium in Texas, as she walked into the stands carrying a white handbag.
She was seen watching and cheering from the stands and looked completely focused on the game, as was Kate Kane, who has been married to England captain Harry Kane since 2019.
Megan’s followers will have had their eyes on her outfit as just hours before she revealed her luggage drama after landing in the US and realized to her horror that her luggage hadn’t arrived.
The mum-of-three took to social media to ask her followers: “Arrived in America yesterday… my suitcase didn’t. Can I wear my 7 year old top to the game tonight or not?”
Posing with her back to the camera, she revealed that she was in a tiny England top with the words ‘DADDY’ emblazoned on the back. In a separate post on TikTok, Megan shared a photo of her open suitcase with the song “The One That Got Away” by her Katy Perry and a caption detailing her “horror” story.
She added: “But as long as we can see dad because football is coming home.” Fans were quick to laugh with Megan, with one commenting: “No, every girls worst nightmare!!!! That outfit you had too, fingers crossed you get it back soon! Meanwhile you get that dad shirt on girl.”
“Not Megan Pickford wearing a dad shirt, yes Megan!” said another. Ollie Watkins’ wife Ellie commented: “Worst nightmare don’t worry I have 3 suitcases full. come to the rescue.” Megan replied jokingly questioningly
Some of the other WAGS spotted at the game tonight include Tolami Benson, who is engaged to Bukayo Saka, Ollie Watkins’ wife Ellie, Ashlyn Castro, a 28-year-old American influencer who is currently dating Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham and John Stones’ wife, Olivia Naylor.
