Lindsay Hubbard offered an update on where she stands with her little father, Turner Kufeand how West Wilsonrumored ex-boyfriend, Meija Morenohas made post-“Scam” on a podcast last week.
Like the 39-year-old Cottage Star also revealed if she was worried people would boycott In the City since it has Amanda Batula34, and shared his thoughts on leaked audio clips of the reunion, Lindsay talked about her and Turner’s dynamic and admitted that she felt bad for Meija.
“We’re in a really good place. And he’s such a good dad,” Lindsay revealed of Turner in a June episode of After editing with Daryn Carpvia Vanderpod Recaps on Instagram. “He loves Gemma so much and he’s so active and involved.”
He’s also “very accommodating” with Lindsay’s hectic work schedule.
“It’s perfect. I actually did it the best way and I hit the jackpot,” she gushed.
As for Meija, Lindsay said she’s “better now.”
“She still, she doesn’t like to talk about it too much because she’ll break down and cry…at least that’s what she said when I saw her before I continued See what’s happening live“, she revealed. “I honestly feel sorry for her and any other girl who thought that they were exclusive. I feel sorry for Amanda right now because I feel like it will happen again.”
Regarding potential boycott of In the CityLindsay said it was hard to say whether Amanda and West’s romance will affect the series negatively.
“I hate seeing the comments about, ‘I don’t see if Amanda is on it,'” she shared. “Amanda is one person. There are so many actors. There is me and (Kyle Cooke). I personally worked really hard to put this group together. And I know Kyle helped towards the end, right before we started shooting. And we have a lot of dynamic friends… very good looking. And fun. And dramatic. And I think the viewers are going to be really excited to meet them and get to know them and see what happens.
“It’s such a bummer. And it’s really disappointing when I see those comments, but I hope people just say it out of spite, but actually still want to watch,” she continued.
Looking back at the leaks that came out of the reunion, Lindsay expressed frustration.
“It happened really fast,” she said. “We literally shot the reunion out the door at 8:39 p.m. after being there since I got there at 6. I landed in California. I was going to Stage Coach and then boom, I’m like, “What happened? How did this sound leak out?”
“We sit there. We pour out our hearts and souls and feelings and emotions and opinions for hours and hours and hours … It’s a lot. We bury it all. So yeah, it’s frustrating,” she said. “We’re also like, you know, Bravo is the pinnacle of the pinnacle of reality TV. There’s obviously a format and a reason why there’s protocol and, you know, formats for these things. So let’s just kind of let everybody do their job and you guys will get it when you get it.”
Cottage season 11 is expected to begin filming sometime this summer.
