Prince George is out here stepping into the limelight with his mother, Princess Catherineand the Internet simply cannot handle a certain detail: the kid is catching up to her in height. Seriously!
Like… excuse us??? Wasn’t he just a little royal baby in every Christmas picture like five minutes since?!?!

The mother-son duo made a public appearance at RAF Coningsbyand in one Instagram video posted on the castle’s account on Saturday, we got to see that it was far from just a polite wave-and-go situation. Ohhh no! They got the full experience – traveling by plane, checking out historic military aircraft and even climbing into cockpits like it’s a royal excursion that no one else is invited to.

Plus, we know how much George cares about flying!
But let’s be real – the internet didn’t zoom in on the planes. No. It zoomed in on height situation. Prince George is now standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Kate and people are doing the classic double-take like, wait… when did he grow up????

TBH, this is peak royal reality check. One minute you’re the adorable toddler waving from a palace balcony, and the next you’re almost eye-level with your mother as you travel around in military jets like it’s just another day.
Of course, the excursion will also be framed as part of his gradual introduction to royal duties – because yes, it is still the long game of preparing a future king. No pressure or anything! Just casually growing up in front of the whole world while also preparing for a destiny level job.
Sooo yes. Prince George is growing, time is flying and the royal children are officially entering the “wait… wasn’t he just a baby?” era. And honestly… the same! Ha!!
