EastEnders Chelsea Fox’s unlikely new lover revealed after Jordan’s accident

EastEnders viewers are convinced Chelsea Fox is about to embark on a new romance in a stunning twist

EastEnders’ Chelsea Fox has been left devastated after being told Jordan may never walk again.

As fans of BBC soap want to know, guilt-ridden Chelsea (Zaraah Abrahams) yelled at her son Jordan (Jahsaiah Williams), prompting him to rush outside, where he was hit by a car driven by Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt).

Thursday (June 11) municipal councilor Ian tried to pressure Chelsea to take some responsibility for the road incident in the hope that a potential legal outcome would be less severe if blame were shared.

“He needs you. That’s all that matters right now,” Ian told Chelsea during a heart-to-heart at the hospital. Chelsea began to open up to Ian and admitted her guilt.

“All I can think is, ‘I put you here’. And if he’s done serious harm, I’ll spend the rest of my life thinking, ‘That’s what I’ve done,'” she explained.

Later, Jordan’s pediatric surgeon informed Chelsea that her son was unresponsive to stimuli and might not walk again.

However, the doctor said Jordan had a good chance of a full recovery with extended rehabilitation, but Chelsea continued to kick themselves over their share of responsibility.

Realizing that Ian might have checked in on her and Jordan for damage control, Chelsea went to his house for a heated showdown.

Chelsea broke the news that Jordan might be paralyzed and punched Ian in the face.

Ian responded by defending himself, saying: “You said you shouted at him so much that you scared him and that’s why he ran across the road. We’re both guilty.”

Despite Chelsea hitting out at Ian, some EastEnders fans are suggesting the pair could be romantically linked.

Taking to X, one viewer admitted: “Got a bet with my brother that Ian and Chelsea will get together. #EastEnders.”

Another urged: “Chelsea and Ian better not get together #EastEnders”, while a third said: “Ian and Chelsea #EastEnders.”

“Absolutely love how @bbceastenders can bring characters together. Love these scenes between Ian & Chelsea #EastEnders,” added another.

EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday on BBC One and iPlayer
