Mariska Hargitay admitted that the Knicks’ great comeback win in Game 4 of the NBA Finals on Wednesday might have excited her more than her wedding night with husband Peter Hermann.
“I love my husband and our wedding night was great and everything, but I think it might have been the best night of my life,” the “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” actress told the Hollywood Reporter after the Knicks’ 107-106 win over the Spurs at Madison Square Garden.
Hargitay, 62, has been married to Hermann, 58, since 2004 and they share three children.
A representative for Hermann was not immediately available for comment Thursday night.
The Knicks super fanwas seen celebrating with Taylor Swift in a matching “Stevie Knicks” jersey after the historic win, the nail biter told the outlet in a statement.
“The game was so brutal, down 29 at the half, but I’m telling you, to see this team fight and fight back — to see that look in Jalen’s (Brunson) eyes — there’s just endless life lessons in there,” she wrote of the epic game.
“And then OG (Anunoby) comes flying in, his orange and blue cape flapping behind him, and then it’s just pandemonium.”
Hargitay insisted that the moment will “be replayed over and over, not just as an epic moment in basketball, but at the pinnacle of the greatest moments in sports.”
She admitted: “And all I could think was ‘IT JUST HAPPENED!!!’ And ‘OH MY GOD I LOVE THIS TEAM!!!’ And ‘OH MY GOD I LOVE THIS TOWN!!!’”
Hargitay is one main chair fan at the Knicks’ games, where celebrities including Michael J. Fox, Ben Stiller and Timothée Chalamet have been seen as the best-of-7 series between the NBA teams warms up.
While the big win seems to have captured the actress’ attention for now, she may have another huge event to look forward to on the horizon.
Hargitay, who is a longtime friend of “Life of a Showgirl” hitmaker Swift, 36, apparently has a conspicuous break in her schedule ahead of Swift’s upcoming wedding to Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce.
The actress appears as a solo act on Broadway in “Every Brilliant Thing”, with shows every Friday night.
However, an eagle-eyed fan noticed and relayed to Page Six that her show has been canceled for July 3 — the very date Page Six exclusively reported in April that Swift was set to marry Kelce, 36, in New York City.
Duly, Page Six subsequently reported earlier this month that the couple will married at Madison Square Gardenand that everyone — including Hargitay — is “sworn to secrecy” about the case.
